I have no idea what that even means.
I'm about 28 or 29 years into AFL Carlton support membership and this the first time seen a ticket where I have no clue where it is.
Normally has number of gate to enter and an M, Q, N or P on it. Never seen GA28 before.
The 'ticket' you have is the equivalent of scanning your AFL Membership card at the gate three years ago. Enter any AFL Membership gate (6 or 7) and sit in any walk-up bay. They've been posted on the AFL Membership website or signs will be up inside the gates.

Cool, sounds likely. Just why it not show M or Q was what I found confusing.
I will find the AFL Membership people early Sunday so work out how they changing all the ticket info now so it less confusing next time we go.
Does not say gate 6 or 7 either but that where I was intending to go to sort it out.
No point rocking up 20 minutes before the game as heaps of others will be doing the same so probably arrive half an hour earlier than normal to allow for buffer time.

The GA means general admission. Ignore the number after it - I think that's the 'seat number' the club/FAQ is saying to disregard. It's probably just some kind of sequence number from the ticketing system.

Again, treat it like your old membership card which didn't state a gate either.

Oh look! Gov, Omac and Fog out, with Cerra, Young and Plow in and Martin looking the likely sub from the four emergencies.
3 outs, 3 ins and a sub to be named. I'm not usually a fan of "told you so's", but I just can't work out why you chose to single my post out as being wrong.
Not to be that guy, but it is 2 ins and 3 outs…

McEvoy out is actually huge imo.

He's their captain, strongest body and a handy forward/ruck.

Watched some of the Port game and he was strong in the air...he typically is. Helps minimise the impact of Gov out. Replacement likely to be Kosi or Lynch, neither are scary.

Have you opened the ticket details where it gives you your QR code to scan at the gate? Usually that have all the ticket details, gate entry number etc?

It doesn't for the dummy AFL Membership walk-up barcodes. They aren't proper tickets, just dummy details.

TDK can be used as another tall forward.

Curnow is that hybrid forward, so having TDK and McKay provides two talls. This allows McKay to play further up the ground and we still have TDK as the bail out kick up the line. It obviously requires Durdin, Owies and Fisher to be deadly at ground level.
Just need TDK to grab a few of those up the line kicks and then I will be sold

Very happy with changes.

Much prefer Martin to play 4 quarters in the 2nds this week.

Owies and Durdin need to lead pressure acts of they get the boot (unless they kick a bag of course). Pressure on their backs is paramount.

Don't mind seeing plow play in a defence not completely under siege for once. Needs to take the easy option to our good run and carry players.

Congrats to young. It's now your spot to lose.

They will bring the pressure. They're a duo down there. Work really well with one another. I think the common thing you're going to see this year is that we'll bring the pressure every game. It's the Voss style.

The band is together, the midfield is super strong.

I'm a little surprised with Plowman over Parks, he's not a true third tall but perhaps with two big key position players we may not feel we need one.

Just need to dominate the midfield and overfeed what appears a very potent forward line.

No question in my mind my worst day ever at the football.
Shit- I just realised I was their too. Successfully put that out of my mind, until tonight…

My only vivid memory of that game is a Geelong supporter cheering their players on referencing their numbers only!! No names were called out! How undeserving,I thought to myself, that a supporter who didn’t even know their players’ names, got to enjoy a victory over us!
