Every chance Lohmann gets a game this week if Bailey doesn’t get up.Yep.
Lincoln McCarthy, Joe Daniher, Cam Rayner.
Charlie Cameron, Eric Hipwood, Kai Lohmann. + Zac Bailey rotating through is a pretty potent forward set up IMO.
Also would offer more F50 defensive pressure, particularly if Cam can improve his endurance over the coming off season.
I wish we would tbh.We could do that right now if we wanted to
In the VFL?Where is the 2nd ruckman that Fagan loves to play?
I always figured the intention was to stretch opposition defence where our 3rd best tall forward would be much better than their 3rd tall back, giving us the opportunity to have our 3rd tall impact the game until the #1 or #2 back is shifted on to them and the new forward who gets the 3rd tall back gets to start having a field day. Having said that, when no space is made for the guy on the worst defender to lead into and/or all our talls and mid/small forwards all go into the same space and fly for the same ball.I always thought we had to play 3 talls because we didn't have the back flankers and midfield suited to fast ball movement.
Kiddys addition has helped and its probably something we expect Wilmot to help with but I think we'll be required to slow ball movement for some time
Wouldnt the freed up McStay and CEY help?Salary cap is tight I don't think we can recruit logue and a decent mid we'll have to choose one.
I think Lohmann will come in for Matho this week. He was rushed into the 22 when he first starting showing this kind of form and he seems to be back there again now.Every chance Lohmann gets a game this week if Bailey doesn’t get up.
And if McStay is to come out of the team now, I think it would be for Fort.
But I would love to see Lohmann get another go but I really don’t think it will be at the expense of McStay.

Even Mark Robinson on afl360 when asked about Heppell joining the Suns he said in a roundabout way that the Suns would be best to avoid him given there current trajectory. I reckon he is one of the more uninspiring leaders or captains in the game.He has looked close to done the last 2 years, borderline best 22 for Dons and often looking a liability on field. Would be needing a spot in an already crowded half back line. Not good enough footballer or leader for that role IMO.
It made sense at the time but this is supposed to be a period where we are one of the better teams in the comp. We looked incredible with the fast ball movement and always have. With the faster ball movement our keys were able to dominate the game because they had space to lead into and our midfielders/half backs were able to hit them up on their leads.Initially the slow ball movement was to help setup behind the play so we wouldn't get hurt on turnover and wouldn't be conceding 20 goals a game like under Leppa
That as well as always being have one able to lead up the wing to contest the ball, while still having two forward to split the defence when it goes forward if we take the first markI always figured the intention was to stretch opposition defence where our 3rd best tall forward would be much better than their 3rd tall back, giving us the opportunity to have our 3rd tall impact the game until the #1 or #2 back is shifted on to them and the new forward who gets the 3rd tall back gets to start having a field day. I wonder if having Rayner as a permanent forward who attends centre bounces at times would fill that role? I would back Rayner to take a mark in a pack situation over McStay and Hipwood tbh. That as well as always being have one able to lead up the wing to contest the ball, while still having two forward to split the defence when it goes forward if we take the first mark

I don't know Nathan...maybeWasn't there a different article about them buying a house in Queensland?
I can hear the turnstiles clicking! If Buddy becomes available you make it happen
Viv was my hero. When I was a junior I made my own initials and put them on bat when I played on the V12 and I also lightly used to sand the edges of my bat so it looked like I hit everything in the middle! Oh those were days !How could I forget the MAster Blaster - Jeff Dujon I liked too - even the openers Dessi Haynes and Grodon Greencih (I think thats their names). Patrk Patterson would have been frightening facing.
So who are we trading for - Ed Richards lol
