Logue, Tucker and Clark (if it actually happens) all good pickups. Can’t really see Hill trade getting done due to lack of trade capital. Saints not really stretched salary cap wise. If we can get Bowes cheap that would complete a quality off season. Seems that for list balance Cadman would be the best option for pick 1 but the big 3 of Wardlaw, Sheezel and Tsatis hard to overlook.
You won’t need extra trade capital to get Hill

He’ll just be bundled into the Clark deal and we cop his salary

also love that we keep beating essendon to players, coaches etc

that side is a joke

He can play. Injury has hampered him and thanks to the afl the GC have an abundance of talent coming through.

And they wonder why their culture is terrible. They treat players as immediately replaceable because they’re gifted fresh top shelf talent every year.

Isn't he a running hb? Seems strange when they have so many currently out injured long term to be getting rid

Hunter Clark will make a decision on his playing future when he returns from overseas next week but the young Saint looks increasingly likely to be elsewhere in 2023.

North Melbourne continues to lead the race if the contracted Clark departs, but it’s understood Essendon also plans to meet with him when he is back in Melbourne.

He has one season to run on the deal he signed in March last year and a trade would need to be struck if he is to leave Moorabbin.

The 23-year-old, the No.7 pick in the 2017 draft, has looked a budding star at times but endured repeat collision injuries in the past two seasons that interrupted his progress.

Clark sustained a severely broken jaw last year in a high-profile incident with Adelaide’s David Mackay, who was ultimately cleared of any wrongdoing at the tribunal.

His start to this season was delayed when he hurt the AC joint on his right side in a pre-season clash with Bomber Dyson Heppell, before he suffered a compound fracture of his nose in a collision with teammate Dan Butler.

That run of horror luck has contributed to Clark weighing up whether he needs a fresh start.

There is also a belief the 68-gamer can be too comfortable at times and won’t realise his potential at St Kilda.

At his best, Clark combines excellent composure with silky skills and has most often been used at half-back but was drafted as a midfielder.

Opposition clubs believe he is gettable for a selection in the 20s, with the future second-round pick the AFL awarded the Kangaroos, as part of its assistance package, potentially the key to unlocking a deal.

They don’t have a selection in that region this year but are open to ‘splitting’ the No.1 pick as they eye an active trade period, with Dockers Griffin Logue and Darcy Tucker already nominating them.

The Bombers’ draft hand this year includes picks four, 22, 40 and 58.

Clark is close with North’s fellow ex-Dandenong Stingrays Luke Davies-Uniacke and Aiden Bonar but that is just one factor as he considers where he will be most challenged and play his best football.

From the little I have seen, he plays like Dal Santo with a contested game.

**** he looks like Stu from King Gizzard!

Why would Clark even entertain the idea of going to Tullamarine, when he can play under Al Clarkson?

Well this is it, if it’s true he gets too comfortable and won’t get the best out of himself there as reported, and it’s him looking to improve, then you do it with a mate on an upward trajectory under the best coach of the modern era.

Logue will add great depth for the backline- 2nd round pick

Hunter Clark most likely 2nd with exchange for later picks.

Jack Gunston restricted free agent watch this space.

Tucker - 3rd round

Jack Bowes wants to look around could be a good pick up as well

Adam Tomlinson could get pushed out of Melbourne with Brodie Grundy wanting to go there. He has 1 year remaining has been averaging 21 disposals 6 marks a game as a key defender in the vfl.

Tom Phillips, jackNewnes and Kyle hartighan

Tarryn Thomas could be swapped for Bowes and a 2nd round pick back to north?

Perhaps Clarkos needs a pool boy and a gardener, or four.

1. We've been given a second rounder that we have to trade so our hands are essentially tied into using it on either Clark or Logue.
2. I think it is very short sighted to be calling the CCJ a disaster or to be ridiculing it. He hasn't played 20 AFL games and traditionally rucks take the longest to come on. Yes he needs to improve his ruck craft and physicality but he is a decent mark around the ground and has shown he is too good for VFL. Have faith.
Well said. Totally agree …

Just seen a few of Clarkes 2020 highlight reel .
He is unbelievably good on both sides of the body ?! Not many players have this unique skill where It’s actually hard to tell whether he’s a right or left footer ?!
A Must get . Make it happen LDU (best mates) & Clarko 😊👍💪

Hunter Clark, came off 2nd best after a collision with Dyson Heppell, bit of alarm bell there :)

Clarke, Perez, Goater, TT, JHF, Powell, Phillips what a weird feeling trusting a bunch of players with ball in hand.
