If I was Brisbane I would trade just 21 and the future first.

Go into deficit, they’re not going to have that first pick anyways so who cares if it gets pushed back.

Could Christmas come early for North with the Bulldogs threatening the Lions that they will walk Josh Dunkely to the PSD where we could grab him with our first pick....The Lions dont have much left to trade with ATM..

Fuc&ing morons
I think the problem with the AFL media is we are an after thought in just about everything, even a story that is just us and Port.

Every new detail is reported from the angle of Port moving closer to getting "their man" and whatever the latest supposed "deadlock breaker" happens to be, there is little thought given to whether it is adequate for us. There seems to be a subconscious assumption that we should stay in our lane and accept whatever scraps fall from the big boy table of the clubs that matter and be grateful.

That video went for 2mins27secs, our point of view was given exactly the last 8 seconds and it was a dismissive "close enough, that'll do"

that pick doesn't get pushed back i think. its their next live pick, so it would be their second rounder

There is no way this deal is getting done without the bulldogs getting bent over. Brisbane gave up pick 15 for extra points? Dunkley isn't even their first priority. If I was Dunkley, I'd feel like Brisbane are d!cking me around.

Pick 6 = Pick 8 (slight downgrade)
Griffen = Sinn (slight upgrade??)
Griffen vs Sinn is a hard one. Stages of their career are too different.

Not sure Boyd was talked up as a generational talent like JHF though. So I'd still be after the mystical sweetener, at this point out of spite more than anything.

It's a good template to negotiate and judge from.

Brisbane could package 21 and 34 to the Swans for Pick 17 and 37.
This would would give Brisbane 17, 25, 35, 36, 37, 56.
Technically there is your 2 first rounders (17 and future 1st) and 25, 35, 36, 37, 56 matches a pick 1 bid.

Or 21 and 25 to Swans for 14 and 37 (Swans then have 17, 21, 25)
Might make Doggies a bit happier to take 14 and future. Brisbane would then go into deficit but they end up with Dunkley.

Ooh FG.

Griffen was a 28yo captain, top 3 B&F and the B&F the year prior.

That is genuinely Ollie Wines territory if we're applying precedent - 27yo captain, B&F a year prior.

If anything we should be driving the narrative anytime Boyd is mentioned that the players mentioned in this deal are pitching too low, even as an ambit claim.

At the time of the trade Griffen was a massive upgrade on Sinn.
I genuinely forgot the quality of Griffen back when the trade happened.

So we’re getting Wines 8 and F1?

I think we have a deal ladies and gentlemen.

Can you sticky this so the inbreds can read it before posting?

I hope security is on standby for the next Chaddy food court mod catchup. Tipping that it's going to be a very testy affair.
