I feel he does not fit on with Sams game style. He fits with Clarkos style very well, no super star but very consistent, in Clarkos words plays his role.
Fair.

Particular strengths?

A true utility, a big body in the midfield, tackles hard and can kick a goal an / or shut down a star players in a tagging role.

Offers another 5-6 years at the age of 26. Id compare him to Hugh Greenwood on your list, only younger.

Crikey…..one’s enough.

Or do you mean the Knightmare kind of Greenwood/JHF type comparison………

One Greenwood-type is bad enough.

You need JB back to compliment Clarko and Viney. JB has the skill to get the best out of Clarko.

Ha. To me this is a kind way to put it.
Really, I felt Clarko’s appointment had a galvanising stabilising effect. I don’t think the CEO moving on is super destabilising as once it might have been for us in the past.

From the Hun…

CLARKO KEEN TO LOCK AWAY SPEEDSTER

North Melbourne defender Aaron Hall is closing in on a new one-year deal as Alastair Clarkson wastes no time putting his stamp on what the 2023 playing list will look like.

Hall’s run and carry and intercept qualities in defence were sorely missed at times this season in an undermanned and inexperienced Kangaroos’ defence.

Hamstring and groin injuries limited the 31-year-old to 11 matches this season, but the club is confident he can get back to his 2021 form when he finished fourth in the best-and-fairest.

**** the lot of ya.

Clarko knows quality. I'll ride with you Hally.

Am I imagining having heard both make comments along the lines of "yeah, it'd be nice to play together one day" etc?

I could swear I've heard them both say as such.
Could swear I'd heard the same as The Filth Wizard . From them, but also possibly from their parents? Interviewed on ABC radio before the game where Larkey kicked 7 or 8 against Carlton last year. Just going from memory though, could be wrong.

I do clearly remember the parents saying they went to the right clubs, Ben being a Shinboner and Harry being a silvertail.

We need to get Bruhn in. Also, I rate Tom Phillips. 26. Had experience. Can teach the young lads. I think he's worth a crack on 2 year deal.

Happy with current delistings but need to also make sure we delist turner, atu and mahoney or I'll be sick

Turner and Atu are likely but Mahoney is contracted so better grab the bucket
