I'm sure they thought JHF and Tarryn Thomas were going to buy in. There is no guarantee that their next draft selections will be better than those two.2 top 10 picks and change, absolutely they can
Atleast they can draft some vics
Nope and I know he's had a good year but I still think we'll be a better team without him... Eventually. Cash in now and get games into Amiss etc especially if Jackson comes. That you Colin?
Really hope the Lobb talk is just posturing we've held him one year already. Bulldogs have to come to the table with a reasonable deal but as long as they do get the trade done

Luke Jackson finally nominates Freo: Make Me Purple: Jackson Picks Dockers
The Logue role sounds similar to what Mayne and his yips became.Every intention to keep Rory, he's crucial to us and we don't see a way to trade him
Jackson - still early days, definitely hope to get a deal done
Tucker & Logue - haven't given up hope on Logue staying. We'd trade Tucker if it means he gets more games elsewhere
Henry - high hopes, wing spot opening, no conversation about trading him
Acres - will get done today. 3rd round around the mark. Weren't prepared to match their offer, believe we can cover his role, mentioned Clark, Chapman and Young
Corbett - definitely hopeful, can play a role for us. Want him to play Logues forward role
The Logue role sounds similar to what Mayne and his yips became.
You’d think Corbett would be competing with Banfield too?
I still don’t understand what we are doing with Sturt, Erasmus.
Treacy could do more damage than Logue.
You need goal kickers, this defensive forward crap should be secondary?
True but someone posted some stats the other day that in 2022 we're still bottom 4 team for marks inside 50, even when we finish top 6. Getting some forwards and forward structure to mark it more, we need less forwards chasing tail. Might be a more enjoyable experience for us to watch too. It’s both. A lot of our problems in the games we don’t play well in is that the ball comes out of our forward line as quick as it came in
Are they going to buy in more than JHF?
From that snippet I was excited that the way it was worded indicated we are getting something else chucked in, then Twomey made it sound like maybe that was overs then so therefore we’ll send something back. **** I’d be angry sending something backLooks like North are throwing F2PP and F3PP into the offer for Logue and Tucker
was*Luke Ryan is a complete jet. Anyone who says otherwise can go support the Eagles.
You must be watching a completely different game. Luke Ryan was excellent this year. I think he had one poor game.was*
Logue language was about what spot they can offer. Apart from $ it’s the whole reason Logue would wish to leave. He’s a defender.
I’m unsure what spot they can sell him if Pearce and Cox are our 2 key backs.
I’m an open Logue hater. If they can play him in defense I’m ok with him staying. Any other spot then he has to leave.
I don’t think he’ll stay and Walls language was more hopeful rather than anything else.
Yeah, I don’t think they have a choice here, they aren’t competing any time soon so holding him to contract just delays getting games into his replacement and this could get ugly next year. Take the two firsts, get a sweetener with it and next time take the ridiculous offer for pick 1 when it’s givenWho knows but they’ll get 2 shots at it!
JHF had a stinker. Now that he wants out I just think you cut your losses here. North can still do well
I think he had one good gameYou must be watching a completely different game. Luke Ryan was excellent this year. I think he had one poor game.
I thought he had one or two excellent games and was otherwise meh. Coaches seemed to agree given where the rest of the backline polled in the BnFYou must be watching a completely different game. Luke Ryan was excellent this year. I think he had one poor game.
Twomey can eat a bag of dicksFrom that snippet I was excited that the way it was worded indicated we are getting something else chucked in, then Twomey made it sound like maybe that was overs then so therefore we’ll send something back. * I’d be angry sending something back
I 100 percent believe he'd still be here if we held him.Damn I wish we just held Lachie Neale to his contract all those years ago
That’s because we played too small, and played players who are not genuine forwards or can kick a clutch goal. It’s both. A lot of our problems in the games we don’t play well in is that the ball comes out of our forward line as quick as it came in
Haha, all he said was “whether it’s the F2 for both or F2 and F3”, I just hadnt contemplated that we would possibly be ok letting them go for LESS than both, then with Acres being given away it made me worried…Twomey can eat a bag of dicks
I think difference is we clearly don't rate acres for some reason and didn't want to match the offer to keep him. Logue on the other hand we're still trying to convince him to stay. So I don't think we'll be as easy on that front.Haha, all he said was “whether it’s the F2 for both or F2 and F3”, I just hadnt contemplated that we would possibly be ok letting them go for LESS than both, then with Acres being given away it made me worried…
We would have leaked more goals. Griff is not good on smalls.Ryan and Pearce aren't gettin any younger. Logue could have been offered a bigger pay and was wasted in the forward line. Posters during the season saying otherwise were kidding themselves.
He should have been played in the backline or not played at all. We robbed Sturt a chance of kicking goals for Freo who is a natural forward. Logue is a terrible set shot when others are naturally better than him.
He also could have replaced Walker down back. Freo wouldn't have leaked as many goals.
We are basically losing a good player for peanuts. Young could play wing and deliver to our forwards. It would help our supply forward of centre which is often our weakest part of the game.
