If the bowes gospel is correct and hes prepared to stretch it over 4 and we arent doing our due diligence ill be disappointed, especially with * sniffing about, could see them taking phillipou with 7.....
Bowes in itself is an upgrade on setters and dow
I doubt he's prepared to take his $1.7M over 4. That's down to $425k pa, and is effectively playing for free for two years to get the money he's owed.

Reckon he's willing extend his contract by 2 years at a modest rate, perhaps $400k a year, then have his $2.5M (1.7 + 0.8) evenly spread across the 4 years at $625k pa. Even if he extended at $300k a year, which is unders by AFL average, he's still looking at $575k pa.

I said those who were saying he will look else where, were labeled clueless- not the other way around.
Fact - he is exploring options
Fiction- “we are pushing him to do so” & “he’s decided too of his own accord”.
We don’t know who instigated it either way, but it’s not a surprise.
99% of what is posted here is fiction and personal opinion...
Those who chose to believe and take posters as gospel, are the ones that get angry and disappointed when it doesn't happen...

Rumours that Fleetwood Mac is playing at the BF.

ferrisb ... skadoosh ... No!

Best music pun I've ever seen...

When you're in a band, you don't get with your bandmate's girlfriend - past or present.
You get a love triangle, you know.... Fleetwood Mac situation
Well, there was four of them, so more of a love square
Mind you, they did make some of their best music back then.
Rumours?
No. No, it's all true.

Austin - ring NM. Get Thomas. That’s a hole filler right there. Get Eddie back and we’ll turn him into his potential. Big, quick, slick.
Tip - Don't attach Eddie's name as a mentor for every single player of an indigenous background. It comes across as racist and stereotyping. I'm not one to be the PC police but we've already gone through about 10 pages of the forum last week over a similar post.

Essentially a mid-late 2nd for Hill depending on where the Pies finish

About right I think

I don’t rate Hill as highly as others and next years draft projects to be quite strong as you know.

I’d be unhappy if it was us at that price.

With a future third for Acres looking likely maybe I’m just being greedy.

Racist because he believes Eddie would be the best person for the job given his work with Stengle?

How precious are people these days... give him a break, he's right, Eddie would be the best person to bring the best out of Thomas no doubt. I would not mind if we do that at all.

Not my own personal belief, I understand what he was saying. But if you looked at the thread last week the entire thing was derailed by people not happy with similar remarks.

I'd be more than happy to welcome Eddie back in any capacity.

I don't care about what some snowflake wants to cry about. As soon as someone cries racism these days it's become fashion to jump on board.

I'd challenge anybody to think of someone Thomas would put more trust into than Eddie Betts? Who would he rather learn from? It's not racist at all... geez hate to think of the club copping it if they actually did get Thomas across with Eddie... we'd be just as racist as our theme song

Has Thomas ever met Eddie? Has he had anything to do with him at all?

Every chance he hasn't, in which case I could probably think of a fair few he'd trust more than Eddie...maybe a thousand or two?

Racist or not, the narrative that Eddie can return to the club and get the best out of any indigenous player out there because it happened this year with Stengle is incredibly tedious.

Not any indigenous player out there... that's making an unnecessary assumption. Narkle didn't do too well with Eddie there did he? But it's no coincidence how well Stengle performed his role and turned his attitude...
