I'd imagine you wont find many Freo poster happy with it. North are paying the most overs but given 11 would be a freebie and they are getting massives overs for McKay, they'll manage
Picks 2 and 11 for Darcy is a Freo supporter fantasy.

Pick 2 is big overs for Darcy, then you have North throwing pick 11 away just for fun.

A contracted Sean Darcy would go for significantly more than pick 11. Sounding like they won’t have pick 11 anyway
Contract or not, no one is paying more than pick 11 for Darcy.

He's a 4 to 6 ranked ruckman in the league when he plays (having played more than 15 games only twice in his seven seasons).

If Freo want to cash out on him, that's what the market would pay. Fair enough if they want to keep two rucks though.

4 to 6? Nah, top 3 comfortably

The sadistic Freo supporter in me almost wants something to come of the rumours because I would guarantee there is no scenario Darcy is traded without getting at least 2 or 3 outright. I would buy you a month of BF premium if we didn’t

Yeah, that trade has you guys footing the massive bill but I don’t think pick 2 alone is enough to make you angry (shouldn’t be anyway) which I was trying to do. I was always kinda assuming just being given free picks makes it easier to trade them.

If Sean Darcy is traded to North, there is not going to be many (any) North supporters happy with the cost

North Give - Pick 19, Pick 31
North Get - Dylan Stephens, Pick 23

Port Give: Ollie Wines, Pick 38
Port Get: Pick 19, Esava Ratugolea

Geelong Give: 2024 First round pick (Geelong), Esava Ratugolea
Geelong Get: Ollie Wines, Pick 38, 2024 second round pick (Sydney)

Sydney Give: Dylan Stephens, Pick 23, 2024 Second Round pick (Sydney)
Sydney gets: Pick 31, 2024 First round Pick (Geelong)

Why would Melbourne do that.

I'd much rather 5, 13 and 33 on Oscar Allen.

Nick Larkey realises he will never play a final at North and is traded to Melbourne for 13 and 24.

Never ever our best forward, someone please take him.

I know you'll say King but the bloke is barely on the park, we all love Max but boy he's barely durable. Billings was good for you, what do you expect from a leadup small forward? I honestly thought he had a good season for you guys, there were games he kept you in it, yes he had poor kicking games but that's easier to fix than not getting the ball.

Tristan Xerri to Stkilda for pick 13, they chased him a year ago and he lives in sandringham.
No chance that Xerri commands a first round pick.
