I hope not. Great that he’s getting a game but he’s miles off.

Just a kid and has some talent but those misses on Fri night let the air out of our tyres.

They did and he wont be best 22 when we are fit but while we have injuries its ok to get games into him its good for his development.

So more Embiid like

I think he can play from now - but only with a mask. Question for him will be to train with it when he gets it (I thought this week) and see how his confidence levels are. Not out of the question for this week but my guess is more likely the next week.

I am hoping the face mask is all black!
Face mask should be a cat mask just for the sheer lols…with whiskers

Isn't Henry's injury similar to one suffered by James Kelly?

For those of you eating lunch please look away now.

The rest of you feel free to click the link below.

I believe he has a burst testicle and is out for three weeks.

Not a terrible result (ie could have been more time out) should freshen him up and we will get him back post bye. Gives knevitt and simpson a small window to press their cases.

Obviously we get Close back this week, but based on Simon Lloyd's comments we might not get anyone else. J Henry and Stengle are apparently in full training, but the club is well known for being conservative with players coming back from injury so no guarantees they play. And as far as I can tell all the others are at least another 1-2 weeks away.

If that's the case, I'd like to see just the one change this week (Close for O. Henry), and I'd bring Clark into the 22 with Dempsey as the sub. Given the experience profile I don't think we can afford to leave out any experienced players, and I think the kids all deserve another go.

This week's REAL injury update, brought to you by Catempire:

PLAYERINJURYESTIMATED RETURN
Jack Bowes Calf Short term 1 week
Toby Conway Foot TBC 10 weeks
Patrick Dangerfield Hamstring Short term 1 week
Sam De Koning Face Test
Jack Henry Foot Test
Ollie Henry Testicle Short term 2 weeks
Sam Menegola Knee TBC whodafugknows
Gary Rohan Hamstring Short term 1 week
Rhys Stanley Eye socket Short term 2 weeks
Tyson Stengle Arm Test

I have heard that there is a little more to the O Henry injury. Can’t remember who posted it but I understand now that it is on the money. Might be another short term out.

I wonder whether they might try and rush Rohan back in earlier than they wanted?

Will have stengle and Close back so maybe they leave Dempsey in (or as sub) with Parf and Henry out (and Jhye either in or sub again). Or they get Rohan back…

Told ya

I wouldn't be surprised if Conway is closer to 3 weeks:

Yeah, as I posted elsewhere I'm just going by what he himself said on Friday night at a member's function. Said he's not playing for a few months to try to get his body right.

Are you being paid by the club to hide NEALE THE REAL STORY?

You’re into me.

Actually Neale was speaking at the same function on Friday and said his surgery went well and he resumes running this week. Back playing after the bye.

Yep the 25-39 year member function. Good to finally recognise the members like that.
The club is certainly being conservative with those 2.

No worries - let's hope it keeps progressing well for him

I'm taking of as a good sign that he's out there on the training track, and especially competing against Hawkins which I doubt is an easy thing to do
