This is why I disagree with the 'play Sheezel forward this year' crowd.

He was the shining light in our backline last year. Won the Syd Barker and the Rising Star. And with Logue's ACL and the loss of McKay to *, our backline got worse.

Taking Sheezel out of the backline as well doesn't make a whole heap of sense to me, personally. Even if you add in Fisher.

Man I got canned for suggesting he should play back, there’s another in this draft pool which would slot in for him in the back half and have that same sort of impact…

Dursma will not play back he is the next generation tall marking half forward. The way he moves and the way he marks at its peak and his Allround skills reminds me of an 18 yo who I saw debut in Round 11 1989.

He will play on a half fwd flank as the 3rd tall with Larkey and the resting s**t truck Xerri/CCJ and kick 50 goals a year. Curtis as the regular pocket and Zurhaar with George Thomas Stephenson et al rotating through

Dursma sets up the modern forward line for the next 10 years.

Sounds like some President of the USA back in the mid 1800's. Commas might have cleared that up.

I was waiting for Cals phantom draft. Looks like it’s those 2 unless we get a massive offer. These 2 are really exciting.

That all sounds a bit amateur to me. If your mate chats to the decision makers and then spreads the word to people who chat on internet forums, then your mate seems like the perfect person to help spread misinformation. Either that, or the decision makers really should learn to stop chatting.

I heard that interview. He sounded like he had a personality. Was very comfortable with the media. The brother question is taken out of context. Family loyalty says that you want to play with your brother even if you are not bothered. We want the youngest brother wanting to play with Zane.

It’s a mid heavy top end draft imo the top few better than any mid in this draft (not including Harley as he’s a utility)

The likes of Finn osullivan, Sid Draper, Josh smillie, jagga smith, Christian moraes the ones to look out for
