We’ll as I said in the match day thread we were playing the top side - to restrict them to thirty point win after a disappointing start in the first quarter was quite pleasing - a bit of a tidy up with our disposal and accuracy in front of goal I think you’ll find a lot of improvement to come in the second half of the season - the inclusion of Martin and Cuningham in the next (1 to 2 weeks I believe) will add much needed skill and pace - and as Marchbank got through todays VFL game I’d expect to see him back in 1 to two weeks as well will add a steadying influence in our backline and will release Docherty into a permanent midfield role which will increase our all round flexibility and class around the ground - patience everyone it’s all coming together.

There are some positive signs in the past 2 games. Have done ok against 2 of the most in form teams for 7 out 8 quarters.

We still lack confidence as a whole but our second chance to start our season is this Friday night.

Dow with all due respect, would have hardly made a lick of difference today, he has had plenty of chances at AFL level and proven he isn't up to it at that level (a rich man's Nick Graham really)

Agree with you about Kemp though. Should be playing in the seniors every game for the rest of the season.

Maybe Dow wouldn’t have made a difference but that wasn’t my point. It is about rewarding players who are putting in and playing well and penalising players who are not performing.

We are doing neither and our players are just coasting.

When a senior player like Doc runs through the centre under no pressure and just bombs it directly to a Pies player you know we’re f****d.
Do these blokes have half a brain?????

It’s mind blowing how stoopid our players can get…he’s supposed to be one of our best…one of our leaders.

im really sick and tired of a few things this season that just keep happening,

1) our forward 50 entries
2) our inability to stick a tackle, or worse still an opposition player gets the ball and our player stops and props instead of going for the jugular.
3) Our players taking a mark with plenty of options and just holding the play up and watching those opportunities evaporate.
4) The opposition marking easily, uncontested in front of goal.
5) Opposition goals from incredibly low IQ footy.
6) Our consistent no pressure, ridiculous turn overs
7) Being so predictable with our ball movement that the opposition are ready for us every ****ing time
8) Our MC picking the team has been squalid all year, so many obvious team errors that always get exploited
9) the fitness of our blokes has been sub par for years now

Ive actually decided to stop going as I have so much more things to say that are so bloody obvious.

I could go on and on …. that’s what just deflates me

Guys, they didn’t even need to get out of 2nd gear.
We are easy to play against.
They toyed with us.
This plan is dead in the water.
Change or accept more of the same.
We may win 4-6 more games this season against rubbish sides and that’s all she wrote.

Not picking Dow is just insulting now. I’m not sure how some firsts players or Voss can look him in the eye

I don’t want to hear he has poor disposal or doesn’t run two ways - I can name ten players in the seniors with the same issue so what the * have we got to lose by playing the kid.

Same with Kemp

Id it doesn’t work out as far as I can see we are no worse off.

Reward form - send a message if you don’t perform you are our out - if you do you are in. Lift training intensity - make it a competition for spots.
