Loved Kemp and Cincotta tonight. Kemp is becoming a real player. His confidence is fantastic and building. And Cinc has really won me over. He never didn't have me, but i was watching with interest and maybe scepticism. He's been going good. Tonight he went great and won me. Reliable...and dashing when the chance arises.

Loving Dow proving a lot of people wrong. He is a very competant AFL player with some real assets.

Marchy is warming up his game. Fingers crossed. The guy can play. Have always had faith in that.

Loved that Fog got the aggot 17 times tonight. Loved that Owies snagged 2. His goals are Papley like rev ups.

Love the 2 ruck set up. It keeps us strong for 120 minutes.

George B.O.G. Last month has been great now that his back has been better.

What a great night with the Matilda's heartstopper and our brilliant win. Melbournes leaders came at us with everything that last 25 minutes. We coped. We won.

The real interesting questions will be in a few weeks time with the additions of players coming back from injury.

Walsh
Cerra
McGovern
JSOS
Harry
Kennedy
Some players are making it hard to drop Dow, Fog, Fisher are playing a great role at the moment. Even the likes of Motlop and Owies are hard to drop as well.

Marchdona -> McGovern
Fisher -> Walsh
Hollands/Dow -> Cerra

Those are the three names likely to be dropped, but I feel slightly bad for them all.

They are melting over there. People are delusional.
something about a technology issue? can't work out if it's connected to a range rover engine or the new lift at perisher...........puzzling............

99? We beat Essendope that day... Mad Dog Brown took out their big CHB before he could pump it forward.....
.99 prelim - win over Essendon and Kennett loses election

13 final - cement Richmond as Ninth-mond forever

Today - big win and Matilda's

Both the first and last memorable for more than just footy.

Just seeing our boys playing with such spirit at every contest is enough for me, but more importantly. when we are playing with such structure, setup and desire, you just know the tide has turned and the success is coming. The leaders of the club, both on field and off, have done it. So Proud to be a BLUE BOY again. No more do we say who we follow with a whisper......We are back were we belong!!!

fluffed our lines a little bit late in the 3rd (acres not feeding off and going back into traffic) and 4th (back to the hacking defence) but held on.
looked like a goal live, gave them lots of opportunities to take the lead. frustrating to watch. curnow could only break even but we managed to find some other avenues.

about time we get some players back?

POTR - ditto everything above.

I saw all that and thoroughly enjoyed it all. Which is why win or lose, I wouldn't have been disappointed. It's just the way it played out in the last 2 minutes.

Perhaps that goal gets paid and we deliver a miraculous answer after the reset for the last 30 seconds. No 100% guarantee dees would have won it. But still the tidal wave of AFL fans comes forward claiming the touch wasn't there.

Wish I could adopt the 'We are Carlton, F the rest' mantra. But ideally, I myself am in no position to. I was born too late and have been left to be the nice and fair guy. I want the boys to earn every bit of that win. I want them to be the best without any question marks or controversies.
Nah mate, you have been born into the dawn of another dynasty...I know it seems hard to believe, but We will be a power for the next 15 years or so. Mark my words. Bookmark this post.

The best is yet to come for youngsters like you.

I'm not talking down our last seven wins. They were superb. We are looking threatening and I'd be lying if I said I didn't get swept up in it a little.

It's just this match which bothers me now. Imagine if we were to play the GF and/or win the flag (don't see it happening myself). Everyone is going to point back to this very game and how it could have wrongly changed everything.

What would be worse is the AFL coming out and agreeing that score review was wrong. I want our season and comeback to be defined by pure determination and hard work. Not by a dodgy goal umpire decision.
I feel like you're really jumping at shadows here. No one's going to angrily refer to this game if we go far in September (not just cos they'll still be whinging about Curnow's goals from free kicks...) because, thanks to the soft call, the whole reason it stayed a point is the lack of proof that Marchbank didn't touch it, and that's not about to change.

I agree that we shouldn't get ahead of ourselves but a) feel free to savour a win over one of the form teams in the comp, to which we lost the equivalent game last year in heartbreaking fashion, and b) should we make finals and either win some or lose in straight sets, know that the last couple of months will have proven that we fully deserved to be there.

The narrative for the Blues in the back half of the season has been nothing but hard work and pure determination - as much as we may or may not be hated by much of the AFL supporter base, positive results over the next 6-8 weeks will have the media pegging us as the Cinderella story

Wtf is going on here.

Firstly, controversial umpire decisions happen all the time and you're basically suggesting if were to win a premiership it would have an asterisk next to it due to a single umpiring decision back in round 22, which is ludicrous.

Secondly, it wasn't even the wrong call so you're getting all worked up over nothing.
