Nah mate, you have been born into the dawn of another dynasty...I know it seems hard to believe, but We will be a power for the next 15 years or so. Mark my words. Bookmark this post.

The best is yet to come for youngsters like you.

Oh I sure hope so. I've suffered enough.

Wtf is going on here.

Firstly, controversial umpire decisions happen all the time and you're basically suggesting if were to win a premiership it would have an asterisk next to it due to a single umpiring decision back in round 22, which is ludicrous.

Secondly, it wasn't even the wrong call so you're getting all worked up over nothing.

Maybe I am. Maybe I'm not. Perhaps that forever remains open to interpretation.

I just don't seem to recall a match in recent times with such a decision that has this much potential ramifications. What are Geelong and Sydney thinking right now? What is the AFL's verdict?

Understand that I grew up with the new generation of non-arrogant fans who have only ever seen punishment and false dawns. Soft I might be right now, but I want to see success no less than you do. Don't you think we are entitled some good times without such controversies?

Does Grundy somehow makes Gawn play like sh*t; or was TDK just too good?
Melbourne fans certainly believe the former, going on their board.

TDK really did work into it though. Seems he sometimes needs time to adjust but eventually he works out how to outwork and outmanoeuvre his opponents.

Just got home. Absolutely cooked (but in a good way)

Everyone seems to be saying it weekly right now, but for me that was the best win of the season and the Voss coaching era so far.

Too tired to make any more coherent thoughts. Just absolutely proud. Delighted. But proud mostly

Finally its all coming together...
Deadset blown away by the change in this team...so happy right now... just love watching them play and the smiles on my kids faces while they watch.

Just watched the Cunningham tackle again. He's gone. AFL will give him 2 or 3. They don't relent on this crap.
Didn’t look great Stifler, but looking at it Cuners didn’t pin both his arms if that makes any difference.

The Melbourne player could and should have used his free arm to protect himself, instead he chose not to and just hugged the ball to his chest. Doesn’t he have to try and protect himself?

Looked like Cunners tried to slide his arm up to try and protect the melbourne players head.

Sometimes you eat the bar.

And sometimes... Well, the bar eats you.

We've been on the wrong end of a stack of bad beats. Nothing wrong getting one back every now and then.

This makes sense.

Been a fair few here having it at me like chubby kids over the tub of ice cream.

I ain't downplaying the fight and spirit of the boys. That was a chef's kiss.

Just would like to have had this without that moment.

What are you on about. The goal umpire believed it was touched, and the video review could not confirm that it wasn’t touched, eos.

I think Cincotta taking out the players legs (great desperation) should’ve been a free kick but there were probably so many other decisions or non decisions that could have gone the other way. Should we review all those and work out who was hardest done by??

This was a gutsy win without Cerra, Walsh, Harry and MCG. Enjoy it ffs.
Melbourne players were taking out our guys all game below the legs.

I'm not talking down our last seven wins. They were superb. We are looking threatening and I'd be lying if I said I didn't get swept up in it a little.

It's just this match which bothers me now. Imagine if we were to play the GF and/or win the flag (don't see it happening myself). Everyone is going to point back to this very game and how it could have wrongly changed everything.

What would be worse is the AFL coming out and agreeing that score review was wrong. I want our season and comeback to be defined by pure determination and hard work. Not by a dodgy goal umpire decision.
I would love it!!! Especially if we beet the filth in the dying seconds on an incorrect score review.

Just back from the game …. Oh my what an amazing win. Game wasn’t a spectacle but just have to say the boys are maturing in front of our eyes. They refused to lose today. So god damn proud of these players. After the * loss I was just furious with them. Just no pride in the jumper. Was disillusioned. But to their immense credit they proved me wrong. I am in awe of this team right now. So even across all the lines, not one ****ing passenger.

My hat off to all of you wonderful, wonderful players you have done yourselves and this mighty team proud.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

So. Are you are suggesting that CFC should have politely declined Sheldons goal and insisted that Harmes had contacted the ball after it was over the line?

It is an UMPIRES decision to make, as musch as I often disagree with them, and sometimes think them dubious and questionable, there have been hundreds of games decided by less clear cut calls than the one where it clearly came off Marchbamks arm.
