Buyer beware with Matty ‘Bam Bam’ Kennedy.

For some unknown reason the lack of brains trust down on Royal Parade have decided to play our 2nd strongest inside mid with the longest kick and best marking prowess as a sub multiple times in lieu of old aggots Ed Curnow, and also off a HBF to which he has literally never played in his life.

They’ve also decided to move our most in form mid (Cerra) of the last few to the back half against the Doggies.
Appreciate You Royce Da 59 GIF

New option. Completely coming from left field but it gets rookies off the ground. It also gives me a couple PODs which is appealing. Zorko and Atkins are both underpriced IMO. It leaves me with 33k itb to do a Pedlar & Ginbey to Sinclair & rookie trade next round. Obviously it uses my last boost. I think this is the more aggressive option and maybe (only) because its 5 AM but i like it

Zorko and Whitfield both single-handedly derailed any chance of having a top 500-1k finish last season so the both of them can go **** themselves with a pineapple.

Never.

Again.

Righto you magnificent specimens, I’ve come up with two trade options.

I liked THECHIEFTON ’s trade proposal but Stewart will have to wait until his bye is complete. He still has a relatively high BE as well so no harm done there, stay down kent.
I’m too low on trades to sideways Grundy to Gawn yet so that will have to be a luxury trade down the track if it eventuates.

First one is bank bulk dollars for upgrading through the byes and get some cash gen happening (hopefully)

OR

Go for broke and get two weaker midfield options in plus Humpa.

Any and all thoughts appreciated, be they inflammatory or otherwise.

Have a marvellous Friday peeps.

First option, but not Ratkins. Get a premo, maybe Merrett?

I will try that trade scenario and get back to you.

Merrett was an incredible trade in last season. From memory I picked him up after his bye for $520kish or thereabouts and he pumped out something like 6-7 scores above 130.

Edit:

Yep.

He has WC and North x2 for the rest of the season. On paper it's a no-brainer.

Yeah I had him last year too, was a great pick.

Overthinking it now.

Can get Walsh and D.Cameron
Or
SC stalwarts Neale and T.Mitchell

The latter finishes my midfield and actually assists more during the byes.

The former gives me greater scope for high scoring (IMO) and opens a ruck/fwd swing.

Prefer Warner and Degoey over trading in Ratkins at 250k. Tom Atkins and Kennedy are cheaper options if you wanted to upgrade to a proper premo or keep some cash for next week.

Shiiiit both okay options, I wouldn't be getting Atkins in now imo. You should go hopper to Humphrey then setterfield the best option you can get.

I'm not a fan of trading in DC off a long break. Cox dominated last week. DC could easily be stuck forward or even managed and subbed out.

You have fewer trades left than I do. Can you afford to trade him out? Either way our seasons were over a long time ago and whatever we do doesn't really matter
Well on that basis, trade your ass off, run out of trades and just enjoy footy again for what it is 🤣

If you’re asking me should I park Hopper on the bench for 4-6 weeks to keep a player averaging 90 odd or get Clarry, I Dont really know what to say. I’d make more sense to trade Hopper and keep Ashcroft and not upgrade him TBH.

I considered my team a poor mans no rookie team before this round. Stocker D6/Ashcroft M8/Pickett F6.

These trades now puts me back one step on that front, however the additional bye round coverage, plus Humpas price rise (>50k this week alone), should see me able to rectify that during the byes.
I can’t believe you’re trading Hopper. WTF?

This is a concern, although last week I made a silly ruck decision based on the expectation that Rowan Marshall would be hobbling or subbed out and he subsequently went massive.

Mitchell and Neale is super boring but feels as safe and comforting as a hug from Mum when you've scraped your knee as a 4 year old.

Would anyone be sane enough to hit complete trades on this?

Split the remainder on upgrading two of Cincotta/JVR/Mitchell next week to two fallen premos.
That’s actually pretty good TBH, if you can manage the end team for two weeks. 600k walking in to a Bye period. Grab another rookie next week and get players coming off their Bye. Serong, Neale, Warner, Stewart, Anderson, Bradshaw, possibly Steele, Sinclair.

Which rookie ..umm.

Sharp ...looking sharp ..
Lord ....omg Lord..
Fleeton ....sheepish ..

It’s a wookie mate 🤦‍♂️ Who hacked your account?

Do people think that it’s more imperative to trade out Davey or Chandler?

Already trading out Hopper.

Have my eye on Rowell, Humphrey and Sharp
Davey. Chandler 93 average at the G until last week. Happy to excuse one bad game. Next three at G after tonight. Maybe I‘m being optimistic, but I’d certainly start him over Davey.

Yeah, likewise mate.

Smart move is to hold a boost and keep Ashcroft for another few I think.

Bold move is to get rid of Ashy, Setters and Plopper for The Chad, Jordy and Humpa.

Pretty stuck on this one tbh.

Normally I just trade first and melt ask questions later, but, after over a decade of playing this stupid ****ing game, now, now I just try to have fun.

Keep the boost and Ashcroft.

Neither. Shitkins at 200k was a risk. At 250k that’s madness. And Ashcroft should stay. Scoring 70-90 will do for now.
