Keays is a ripper, was the best value around once his role improved.

I still remember saying on the saints forum how he'd be a good get after his first season for the crows as he was unsigned and would of been happy to get a contract, any contract. Needless to say the response wasn't favourable.

Roll on to 2023. Constant crying on the saints forum how our midfield isn't much good and needs more depth.

Part of me thinks it's quite funny.

Supporter forums are cesspools. If you question anything or an express an opinion that isn't "we're the best team going around and will win the flag", hounded down by a bunch of flogs who get personal. Impossible to have a sensible, mature conversation. Amount of flack I copped for suggesting Gawn/Grundy wasn't working and as a result Gawn is close to not being in the best 22 after 5 years of being an All-Australian was astounding. Funnily enough, Garry Lyon and Simon Goodwin said the same thing a few days later.
