considering jelly and cunners to taranto and daicos? is that too sideways? happy to trade jelly in case it's >1 week, wanted cogs over taranto but don't have the $
Considering the role may not be there for Cunnington and Jelly is injured and potentially impacted for multiple weeks, not really.

But, by going Taranto + Daicos now, you’re not gaining any ground on those who started them, which was a lot of coaches. You’re just neutralising anti-PODs.

The dilemma is: are there any other picks you are thinking of that are potentially able to score higher and gain ground, rather than just keep up? LDU is a good example in midfield.

I definitely would love to go more of a unique, but I only have 1.03k to bring in 2 players. There’s a few defenders at that 500k price - Rioli/richards/young but not too sure with mid/fwds. I could go jelly to cogs/ldu/chad and then reassess next week

Don't have Chandler, Phillipou or Pedlar. DO I need to move for one or more this week and if so who is the priority?
Thinking the same…probably out of peds n philly.
Will wait for chandler to be on the bubble before I bring him in.
The others have better JS in my opinion.
Pedlar might be the one to get on this week.

Have decided to hold onto Jelly. He will be a nice POD.

Have done the following:

Stewart > Naicos

Greene > Sheezel

Chesser > McKenna

Only reason I got rid of Greene instead of Caminiti was due to a lack of funds.

Guessing you have three trades to do next week, hence going early on the two rooks? Or is it just so you can upgrade what you're fielding at F6/D6?

On my end, ended up sticking with Jelly -> Callaghan, Clark -> Naicos (had a last-minute temptation with Saad, but oh well).

I don't necessarily endorse trading Jelly for a likely one-weeker; however, this fixes up my structure a bit and leaves around $170k for rookie corrections and/or going one-up, one-down next week with Flanders and Hopper if they're poor again.

With Jelly out I am looping Phillipou with Constable. If Phillipou scores 70+ I will take that.

But by doing that I had to move Chesser down back and then I would have had to field one of Chesser or Bergman which did not really appeal to me. Hence the reason to get McKenna now.

Plan at this stage is no trades next week. Only have 8k left in the bank so I can't do too much anyway. Means I miss out on someone like Pedlar but you can't have all the decent rookies.

Wow, almost 4700 have traded out Laird this week already.

I have three trades planned for next week if the same three players do well, and the players they will replace spud it up again. But I am still weary about McGrath as my D3 who was a last second Yeo replacement / money limited option. Likely wont be able to pull an upgrade on him next week as other positions are a priority. Any Bombers fans think he will bounce back after last week? Or is he destined to stay a regular 70-80s player? All the preseason talk of a more SC friendly role.

Stewart to Naicos at the moment.

Super tempting to flick Fyfe to JHF although I didn't see the game.

Nelso Did he look a completely different player to his year at the Roos? Stats from last weekend read well and he had CBA time. Practice match score okay given the 6 FA (FA is a slight concern for him).

Will Boak coming back in eventually shift him out of CBAs? Given then need to run Rozee, Wines, Drew, Butters also through there

Trade Fyfe to anyone. Literally anyone. Better off with a rookie and spend the cash elsewhere.

Sadly just short of $ for Stewart to Richards and Fyfe to Gulden.

Can easily bring in JHF. Probably don't want to go with 3 rookies down forward (currently have Sheezel and Pou on field - Greene and Caminiti bench)

Pedlar and Chandler seem like solid options.

JHF was outstanding in the 3rd quarter last week. Probably the main reason they won. Can he keep doing it? Who knows.

Nah - he’s a spud, unfit & undisciplined

He was lucky to get the score he did last week

Pedlar looked solid from the bits I saw last week. Didn't see any of the Saturday games, my worry with Chandler is spots are tight in the Dees side with a couple to come back in.

Almost prefer to wait till next week for him to see how he fares tonight (statline reads well though)

I would not read too much into the practice game against Freo concerning the free kicks. The umpires were terrible for both sides in that game.

Boak will not take away JHF's CBAs. As I have said before, there is a handover in the Port midfield now. The younger players are the one's who are going to determine how far we go this year and will be given every opportunity to play in the midfield ahead of the more seasoned veterans.

Considering he had a very limited pre season (he did not start running until mid January), JHF was electric last week. He was exactly the type of player we saw in the SANFL the year before. No one will really know what happened last year at North.

A bigger test awaits tomorrow at the G. If he plays well again, then grab him next week for Fyfe. Surely Fyfe can get a decent return this week against North.

Looking at picking up Hunter Clark in my draft league. Like his role and the upside, he butchered it completely last game.

Defenders i am considering dropping for him are Burton or Day. Thoughts?

I have reverted into a total noob.
Bruhn to Chandler
Hopper to Callaghan
Jones to daicos.
And I've already done the trades
Live Dangerously Austin Powers GIF

Jelly to Greene seems boring but gonna do it.

Second trade not sure whether to pull the trigger. Considering holding Allen for a week at home.
Oscar Allen to JHF

Will also need Chandler next week if he does well again.
