Its like he has springs in his heels. Looked so much more agile and lighter over the ground than Charlie. Which I suppose further highlights how hampered CC has been.
having a mobile f50 makes life a lot harder for defenders

unfortunately Charlie prefers getting sitters and doesnt lead enough

Thanks Prem. Very generous

Didn’t realise we’ve had differences? That stuff never worries me. It’s just discussion

I’m lucky that I have spent the last 5-6 years watching many games at VFL level and speaking with people intimately involved at the club. Also many player managers that really know their players.

It gives a very different perspective. Having said that I’m wrong a lot as well 😎

As long we keep winning I don’t care. At my age I’m desperate for another flag
Same here. I'm old enough to remember some great Carlton sides and I really don't want this drought going much longer.

I think that a lot of the issues discussed pre game are still there but hopefully now the mc and Voss will trust the players a bit more.

People forget how good little Durds can be.

Yes he hasn't shown it nearly as much as we'd like in his career so far but what he has shown in some games at his best, is the stuff of no mug.

Hopefully can get him some continuity and confidence in his body.
It was unfortunately the classic Durds performance today, on track for best game of his career after a month of quiet footy and then contact injury and done for the day. Has happened like 2 or 3 times now yeah?

If we can beat Saints then Hawks Cats GWS Lions win their games then we could possibly play Hawks in an elimination final at the G… 🤞
Oh as I bag the shite out if dogs...always..and loathe Hawthorn...either is great.
As is going up to Brissie again.
I just hope we stick with attacking and not the defensive careful shite that always trips us up.
But as Aph said, OWAAT.

How he hasn’t got one is ridiculous …seems like you have to be forward of the ball to get one … I rate him
Highly … he is going to be a very good player
Yeah Cow is going to be a really serious player for mine. Love him.

Yeah, it might put into perspective the occasions where he seems to have "pulled out". He's capable of cannoning into blokes, and that's when he's at his best, but also gets injured...

Hats off to Pittonet, Owies, and Kennedy this week, who made good use of the more fluid ball and player movement around them to create some great opportunities. I saw it differently mid-week, but happy we did have faith in our youth to be part of a solution to engineering this result.

Thrilled to see Kemp forward, and thrilled with the leadership he, Cowan, and Ollie showed today. Lord and Binns slotted straight in and kept pace better than I expected, though it is the end of the season and there's a few tired AFL mids out there. Saints may be a different prospect altogether.

Wasn’t just Kemp’s 4 goals but his defensive work and pressure. Simply a different dynamic. And he did it being the main focal point with the attention of their main defender(s). He has a forward’s instinct.

Lord, Moir and Binns all made important contributions. And Carroll.

Pitt had some game, as did George, as did Cowan.

I liked Young’s game and Weits was a rock (again!).

But Cripps. 🤩 That was some performance.

Fantastic win…backs to the wall…pressure was up from the start, obviously the boys had a great mindset coming in (kinda had the gold coast 23 vibe)

We looked faster and more desperate to keep the footy moving and weren’t afraid to bite off the difficult kicks

Kemp was great, Ollie was huge. Pitto was a monster and Cripps elevated himself to our greatest player of this century with a massive massive performance.

Impressed with the kids, impressed with little Durds….hell even Young impressed

Walsh and E.Hollands field kicking was the only concerning thing

Rest up lads and give it a good shake next week

You guys will never understand just how *ing good it feels when the WHOLE state of WA is muttering * I HATE CARLTON!!!!
HAHAHAHAHA
I’ve worked with multiple businesses who have had a presence in WA, and hence I have spent plenty of time there and with them. THEY HATE US more than Fremantle!!! 🤣

That was a great win under the circumstances. Cripps, Pitto and Kemp put in huge performances and many others were right there with them. What a contrast to a week ago.

So good to give the kids opportunity, and they actually all did well. Better for their development than another 15 VFL games and added some really energy to the side. Our pressure was top notch all day. Great to see Kemp doing well at the other end, looks a natural forward. The seasons alive if we take the learnings from today into the next few weeks.
