A relief to see the attitude return after last week.

In a ridiculously unpredictable season, who knows what's possible from outside the top four?

West Coast were awful after quarter time, but a lot of that was due to the intensity we brought.

Harley Reid was the grasshopper to Cripps today.

It was only a few weeks ago that he dislocated it. And that chickenwing tackle today that dislocated it again should be looked at by Christian, but he's wearing the wrong colour.

Lord was great in the clinches early. Composed at the coalface.

Binns was epic in the last. Grew in confidence.

After a couple of sharp marks I thought Moir was one touch. Turns out he's barely needs a toe.

O Hollands might have been our most important non captain. Loved seeing him take the game on.

Kemp has the attacking flair we all suspected.

It's a win for the youth...and the underdogs, Pitto and Young stuck it right up em.

You beauty!! Great week and match day performance from the whole club!! it’s all upstairs with this playing group. There are still habits from yesteryear affecting our match day performances I believe. We have the cattle to do something special if they keep focus under pressure. We looked like a different outfit mentally. Enjoyed the repeat stoppages, stuck to task in transition and spread super hard all day!

All the commentary on here about Binns not being a realistic selection, due to his lack of size/strength/speed/footskills….

Utter crap.

As pleased as I am about the win, I am equally displeased by Voss and co and their reluctance to try new players/existing players in new roles (or when they did, ones that made absolutely no sense).

Only time they seem to make these calls is when they are literally left with no choice. That’s what concerns me.

On a seperate note, when fit there is 100% a player in Durdin.

I’m lucky that I have spent the last 5-6 years watching many games at VFL level and speaking with people intimately involved at the club. Also many player managers that really know their players.

It gives a very different perspective. Having said that I’m wrong a lot as well

As long we keep winning I don’t care. At my age I’m desperate for another flag

but today will change their minds

footy isnt/shouldnt be that difficult - let the boys play and enjoy the game..

never know what happens or which player stands up and surprises

Above all else.....Coaches need to have an open mind

Was just about to post something similar. Nervous when Young was in defence, but he did his part. Hopefully a turning point in a way, because if he can step up it will help in the long run. Will see how he goes about it next week...

Despite the Eagles low ladder position they do have 3 dangerous tall forwards.

Lord has great hands, Binns has fantastic work ethic, Moir knows where the goals are! Great effort from these three.

Ollie had a ripper game, loved seeing him come off half back, was instrumental at times.

Kemp killed it up forward, Young played well down back. This could be huge for them

People forget how good little Durds can be.

Yes he hasn't shown it nearly as much as we'd like in his career so far but what he has shown in some games at his best, is the stuff of no mug.

Hopefully can get him some continuity and confidence in his body.
