I want to bring Dawson in. Will his form continue? I’m trading out ginbey, baker and amartey. For him Williams and roberts.

Hey guys should I get Ziebell this week, or Day next week.

Who's gonna be the higher scorer overall. Are either top 6 in their POS?

Going to hard for DAY to will top ten in he's area after missing two games.
If either avg 95 plus pretty cheap for their output..

Day mid time prob the one I'd pick.

Fwiw I'll prob have next week

4 tackles wouldn't go unnoticed by Horse, 93% DE, he did everything right.

Just saw an article saying they aren't rushing any of their injured players back so I like Roberts' JS for at least a couple of weeks.

Playing cats at the cattery.

Not many wookies go well there .

He's BE will be better next week if he does not 💩 the bed.

Gah, very hard to decide on trades this week. FYI, this is my current team:

image_2023-04-18_153448792.png

Can get to Cogs with 2 trades (Ginbey + Caminiti), but it eliminates my bank ($2k left) while completing my FWD line.

Can get to Sinclair with two trades (Ginbey + Bowes), but requires cashing in Bowes early with a BE of 48 ($45k profit), and I only have an $11.74m team value (like $200k behind some of you campaigners).

Could do the double downgrade and upgrade Bowes next week, but NFI on who the correct options are in Roberts, Williams and Johnson, it leaves me very light in the mids with Green out and Touk may be out of reach for the moment if he goes crazy.

As an aside, it's pretty funny that in regards to the 3 speculative Geelong picks to start the year (Bowes, Bruhn and Sav), I figured all three couldn't be winners, and picked Sav as the one to fade because KPDs are usually poison for scoring unless they are intercepting, and historically he's had soap for hands. Turns out that Fijian campaigner was the pick of the lot and could have covered Witts perfectly.

be very careful trading in ziebell

hall is banging the door down in the vfl and clucko says 'hes very close'

Talk me out of Parish.

114 and 110 avg last 2 seasons.

Bombers looking like they'll certainly win more games this year.
Averaging 104 so far this year so probably still slightly over-priced.
BE higher than his average (116) and he's only beaten it once this year.
Micro-chol'd midfield seagull

I really, really wan't to get Judas Dawson into my team but I would need 3 trades to do this and I have been burnt badly in the past rushing in 600k plus players after a hot month early in the year. I reckon eventually teams will put more time into him rather than Laird.

I will instead go for the King Gull while he is at a crazy low low price , most likely it will be at Mackenzie and Caminiti's expense

Toss of coin between Williams and Roberts

Mackenzie > Roberts locked in.

Caminiti > Johnson/Williams pending.

Holding Ginbey for now.

Baker/Chandler > MID Premo, just unsure who at the moment.

Good trades, but this is why I don't advocate for hoarding huge amounts of cash during the season.

By trading in Dawson at 655k, you're locking him in at a huge price, you've already missed his two massive scores, and he's made as much (or more) cash over the last two weeks as any of the rookies you're trading out for him. So basically, you're paying 50k more for him than those of us who started with him, and you're left chasing tail as we've already benefited from those massive scores, when you presumably could've had him the last couple of weeks when that cash was just sitting there not appreciating in value.

Anyway, sorry, not trying to be too critical, but having $700k doing nothing while you're forced to field rookies feels a bit crazy (unless of course you only care about league wins, in which case you can disregard a bunch of what I've just said haha).

All that being said, do the trades.

Hey guys,
My team is doing my head in!... I really need to beef up my defence.
Swinging Sheezel back there would help.
I only have $91k in the kitty - so I would need to downgrade a couple of rookies (Mackenzie, Caminiti..etc) to try and get enough $$ to upgrade someone like Ginbey to a premo like Stewart..

Another tempting option is LDU -> Dawson??

I'm prepared to use a boost this week to make things happen/

Thanks heaps guys, any suggestions will be much appreciated.
