You are truly delusional.

You vilified another poster and

1) you refused to believe their were issues that compelled Hollands to move make to be near his family.

2) When evidence was produced that ”Ralphy” had stated that Hollands needed to move back to Melbourne to be near his family (I thought it might have been an illness to a close family member but apparently he has the “illness”).

3) It makes sense that ”working” with his brother and moving back in with his folks was seen as providing asiistance to him.

To return to the initial argument, do you believe that the Crows were delinquent in not chasing Hollands?

So you’ve been hiding in a cave in Vanuatu again? Think you’ve played that card before

Must’ve missed the new info

His only personal issues were his drug arrest and leaving the state, didn’t even get more than the existing 12 months left on his deal

That’s the problem with sniping from the shadows, high chance of ending up with egg on your face.

Apology accepted

Getting arrested for drugs seems like a pretty big personal issue.

Not a ton of new information in the interview with Reid, but host confirms that off-air they talked with Reid and got some info that the club rates Dowling highly and we're still talking with clubs about moving up in the draft.

Dowling looked good for most of the year in the sanfl. Clearly will be afl quality although hard to pick the ceiling on him.

Would love a big summer from him and a debut next year.

I post this in anticipation of getting howled down by the U18’s experts, but from the highlights I’ve seen of Wilson, he looks like the player that all of us hope Brayden Cook will become.

Just clean with disposal and a nice shimmy.
Cook wont make it.

Club refuses to play him.. they prefer Murphy off half forward and moving up a wing..

Cook shouldve been played all year over murphy..

But they clearly see Murph as the more skilled, experienced and safer option. Age and continuity matters.

Let that sink in.

Cook will spend the rest of his time at the club playing sanfl before being delisted without even being given a half decent go.. just like the last three years.

Its the crom way.

To be fair to the club, and note I am with the majority in tearing my hair out with Murphy’s continued selection, but Cook needs to get his arse into gear.

He’s made it this far on sheer talent alone, but he now needs to get a sense of urgency about his effort. He seems to be out of puff constantly when I watch him in the sanfl.

Has sublime skills and a beautiful baulk. But…

The problem Cook has got is if he gets into the AFL 22 and has 1 quiet game.. he’s dropped..

And yet his replacement, murphy, can have 4-5 quiet games in a row.. and still doesnt get dropped.

Yep. Murphy is getting a game on effort, not because they think he's uber skilled or "better" than Cook. It's that old thing about hard work trumping talent that's not working hard.

This has been a bug bear for me for more than a decade with AFC.

Very low tolerance for investing chunks of games in kids. I feel we’ve turned a corner under Nicks although he does revert to type as the pressure builds.

Hopefully Cook will put in the effort next season. Has loads of talent.

In terms of the fixture the game we should be refusing to play is Gold Coast in Alice Springs when the Suns have already been up there a week, played a game and got used to the conditions.

If we have to play it, we can't go up on the Friday, we need to go on the Monday otherwise we are just giving away a game.

Bicks* had made it up.He was lying.

2) When evidence was produced that ”Ralphy” had stated that Hollands needed to move back to Melbourne to be near his family (I thought it might have been an illness to a close family member but apparently he has the “illness”) you refused to accept this (“Ralphy must have also made it up).

3) It makes sense that ”working” with his brother and moving back in with his folks was seen as providing asiistance to him to overcome his drug “problem”. Carlton accepting him for one year on minimum chips probably says more about their opinion of his brother but it is a bit of a free hit for them.

* My posting often disagrees with Bicks, I bought into your stupidity because it shits me when certain posters constantly attack other posters regardless of the issue.
As opposed to your constant sniping at a group of posters

I also found it interesting in his 5AA interview that Reid mentioned Petty and his management approached us about seeing McAdam nominating Melbourne as an opportunity to move back home. Reid has also mentioned we rated Petty highly since his draft year, but maybe we didn’t plan on trying to bring him home this year due to the 2 years on the contract remaining.

With the amount of stories coming out about Oliver, any club might be able to get him for a 4th round pick at the end of 2024 and Melbourne pay half his salary… they can also chuck Petty in to the deal as well and maybe we can upgrade to a 3rd round pick instead 🤔

Don't think you'll get too many arguments re Wilson other than maybe from Wayno..
Only because I'm big on Caleb Windsor ....but I also like O'Sullivan, Rogers, and Mitch Edwards
