Rhys Mathieson is apparently on the move. We do well out of Brisbane outcasts.

Don’t try itWhat a strange analogy.
I think it's not what it appears for James. The club with Chris Scott (or maybe just Chris Scott) moved on all their assistant coaches at the end of 2021. They wanted a fresh coaching team.
Where this gets tricky is that some of the assistants were club legends (is this starting to sound familiar) and actually didn't deserve to be sacked. But new ideas were asked for. The cats did alright the following year from memory.
Rahilly might be welcomed back as he has gained important external experience and success.
I hope he stays with us. Another asset worth protecting IMO.
Because he is in contract and there are rules when you have to advise a club your leaving so they have adequate time to find another coach.I'm not sure why people are (1) laying into Rahilly for heading back home to Geelong (2) laying into us for having the Assistant Coach of the Year move on (after we took him from Geelong in the first place)!!
It's a good sign that under Nicks he went from a good Development Coach to Assistant Coach of the Year - right?
Good luck to him, thanks for the hard work while we were a complete shitshow ... now, not so much.

I think you mean "genuine" (you forgot the double quotes as mentioned in the article). They really are flogging these nothing articles. Of course clubs interest in him was genuine.
Pink’s going to NorthWe still need to draft at least one tall, preferably a ruck. Toby Pink was mentioned as defensive cover too.
He was one of the geelong assistants that was let go because of covid. That's why it's stupid for him to go back there. They preferred their other assistants to him.I'm not sure why people are (1) laying into Rahilly for heading back home to Geelong (2) laying into us for having the Assistant Coach of the Year move on (after we took him from Geelong in the first place)!!

Where does it actually say that he was let go for COVID reasons, though? Can’t find it anywhereHe was one of the geelong assistants that was let go because of covid. That's why it's stupid for him to go back there. They preferred their other assistants to him.
It would be more understandable if he was going to any other vic club. He actually applied for the list manager role at essendon and I didn't think anything of it.
North Melbourne, for real? On what kinda contract I wonder… he might end up trash at AFL level but considering our KPD woes could we really not convince him to stay in SA and rookie him or something? No idea if we were even that interested but I’d seriously rather us take a punt on a mid 20s player from the SANFL than farken Lemmens. Another Wilkie must be out there somewhere…Pink’s going to North
I don't think there's a player in the competition I'd want lessRhys Mathieson is apparently on the move. We do well out of Brisbane outcasts.
Kayne Turner is still on North's list...I don't think there's a player in the competition I'd want less
I stand correctedKayne Turner is still on North's list...
Scott lycett, charlie dixon ?Kayne Turner is still on North's list...
We should be going to his manager with a 7 year 1+ million deal and see what happens
