Is that the Mitchell & Ness stuff or is there some other SoO merch I'm not aware of?I was a function yesterday in the Myer centre for the release of State of Origin merch for the first time in a while. Hayward was there with The Lizard, buying SA Merch

Yay another half forward
Does that look like happeningYeah but if Rankine, Rachelle & Pedlar are going to midfield then we need half forwards.

Will they play Pedlar in the midfield?Yeah but if Rankine, Rachelle & Pedlar are going to midfield then we need half forwards.
We can only hopeWill they play Pedlar in the midfield?
Fingers crossed. Wishful thinking. An actual rumour: Nicks has a performance (specific number of wins in 2024) clause in his latest contract, if not met, the club can part ways with him.
Cue load up on senior playersAn actual rumour: Nicks has a performance (specific number of wins in 2024) clause in his latest contract, if not met, the club can part ways with him.
Let's keep losing!!it also means if the number is 10 or fewer, then we're potentially only 8wks away from change
We are not going to have much say in itLet's keep losing!!
We can cheer when the opposition scores. We are not going to have much say in it
Probably 1 winAn actual rumour: Nicks has a performance (specific number of wins in 2024) clause in his latest contract, if not met, the club can part ways with him.
Knowing the geniuses who made the decision it’s probably a games coached clause, and nothing to do with performanceAn actual rumour: Nicks has a performance (specific number of wins in 2024) clause in his latest contract, if not met, the club can part ways with him.
I was gonna say this is a bad thing as it means Nicks will play risk averse footy and not roll the dice on youth trying to hit that win quota but he’s doing that regardless. An actual rumour: Nicks has a performance (specific number of wins in 2024) clause in his latest contract, if not met, the club can part ways with him.
How much do you think this trigger has already impacted his decision making this year?I was gonna say this is a bad thing as it means Nicks will play risk averse footy and not roll the dice on youth trying to hit that win quota but he’s doing that regardless.
If it exists a s*** tonne. For what it’s worth I still think we’re a decent chance to hit 10 wins this year if that’s the quota. Worst case scenario if we hit it off the back of senior players grinding out just enough pointless victories. How much do you think this trigger has already impacted his decision making this year?
So win 50% of our games from here on in? No chanceIf it exists a s*** tonne. For what it’s worth I still think we’re a decent chance to hit 10 wins this year if that’s the quota. Worst case scenario if we hit it off the back of senior players grinding out just enough pointless victories.
That’s perfect as if he really thinks risk averse footy and seniors is the way to go, he’s not the man (he’s not the man anyway)I was gonna say this is a bad thing as it means Nicks will play risk averse footy and not roll the dice on youth trying to hit that win quota but he’s doing that regardless.
It’s unlikely but I could see us eventually finding form (too late for a finals push of course). Home games against Essendon, Saints, Dogs, Hawks, Richmond, Eagles. Away against North, Hawks and snag a couple wins from pies, brisbane or port. Again I don’t reckon this happens but I think it’s a reasonable enough possibility. Would hate it if it came from a season of Laird, Crouch and Dawson in the middle though. So win 50% of our games from here on in? No chance
