Bart kicked a goal against the breeze, the ball was in the air forever. Looked like it was pretty strong.

Buller BOG for sure. Massive effort especially when you consider the delivery he got. Making something out of nothing and willing himself on every contest he was in.
Magor & Rankin close behind. Protected our lead for most of the day with their pressure and class off half back. Edwards joined in in the second half too.
Mitchell had some nice moments too.

You'd think Stephens will come in, even though his ball use wasn't great. Horse will like the 13 tackles.
Buller making a case, just depends what happens with Bud, Amartey etc.
HHK, Mitchell, Arnold, Magor, Rankin, Warner all had fair games. Really depends how hard the selectors want to go. McAndrew breaking even in the ruck against 2 opponents, including a more experienced operator.

Really pleased for the players that they finally got the win, worked hard and the inclusion of the 3 talls really helped structure.
Buller rightly getting lots of praise, but Arnold also handy and having another tall down back also helped Edwards.
McAndrew's tap work is far far ahead of our other rucks and nice game sense at the end when he was dropping the ball at his feet to stop a fast break from Sandy.
Of the 'uncapped' players liked the games of Magor, Mitchell & Rankin.
Stephens & Warner solid in the middle.
Would have liked to see Konstanty a bit more involved.
But as I say good for the players' morale to finally notch a win.

Lacks upper body strength. Hopefully the weights room can remedy that. Will then be able to stick tackles and break tackles.
Same with all the 22 intake.

He was not a big ball winner at junior level, so probably shouldn't be surprised he's not racking them up at VFL level. However he's played 6 games and has yet to hit double digit disposals in any of them which is worrying.

I haven’t been too concerned, as the absence of a tall target has made life impossible for a small crumbing forward.
And of course, he missed the early part of the season.
He should improve rapidly if we retain a Buller / Armatey / McLean in the VFL side.
Interesting he was thrown into the centre bounce a few times in the 4th.
I'm not expecting a lot, given his pre season and first part of the season was ruined. If he can get a couple of games with 2 or 3 goals this year, that will do. See what happens when he is actually fit.

Yea no doubt he's probably physically not ready for week in week out games in the seniors, but his attack and what he does with the ball now it just seems like he's found his feet as a senior level player
