And given that our draft position for 2024 is considerably weaker, I don’t see how we were ‘winners’ the trade period. We weren’t. C-

We were super keen on this kid before Essendon swooped on him in the MSD. Good outcome.

That's not true according to Tom Morris. He said on Twitter (well, X ) earlier today that it is only the initial offer that matters. Probably for this exact reason.
