Hawks bigfooty: Bell/Dodoro/Cripps/Wells are such flogs who overvalue their players and are dicks at the trade table.

Hawks bigfooty: (shriek of a 6 year old who got told no) WE SHOULD FIRE BROCKMAN INTO THE SUN IF WE DON’T GET A KING’S RANSOME OF PICKS!!!!

I don’t think the decision making of professional list managers are actually influenced by click bait AFL typists - do you?
Yes this nonsense gets sprouted every year. As though Jon Ralph, Damian Barrett etc determine list manager’s trade decisions. Imagine how incompetent they would have to be for that to be reality

According to RoughNLove he told us no last week after previously telling us yes. That seems to indicate he keeps changing his mind based on the largest offer.
Chasing dollars not success which probably is a consequence of norf culture

Tom Morris saying on sen that Adelaide are trying to get Chol and pick 4 from GC in some sort of salary dump. Brisbane also interested in Chol. No mention of us.
Makes no sense for crows to get chol he would only be depth.

Can't understand why Tyler would openly state he is happy to go through the pre-season draft before we've had a chance to even negotiate. No reports of a fall out or bad blood - just doesn't make sense.

Must be horse sh*t.
Yep nowhere has he openly stated it that i am aware of. The article says it is "believed" he would...

I'm with Ned Ryerson you take 38 if it's on offer for the points value.

I think pick 38 for brockman is about market value for an unproven player who was a late draft pick himself.

If we get that for a guy who is out of contract and wants to leave, then I don't see the issue?

Just imagine how fierce the melts would be if McKenzie and McCartney gave away pick 19 for a player with Brockman’s CV.

Would take WC's 3rd round pick for Brockman. Think of it as essentially an end of 2nd round pick.

On exposed form, that's what he is worth.

Gives us more points to match a McCabe bid.

29 and 38 equate to the value of pick 15.

Negotiations are starting at a 4th or a F4.

Do you just accept that?

Do negotiatons often end at the first offer?

If you’re selling a car and someone offers you less than its worth do you just go give it someone else for free? Of course not. If the best offer we get after negotiations is a 4th rounder then you suck it up and take it and use the points for McCabe.

I would. He has shown he can be a pretty good player.

If you want to talk about Hawks BF, another favourite is to expect a return for a young player based on output, yet when trying to get a good young player in we have to pay for potential. I don't think wanting something a little better than Pick 38 is expecting the world.

Expecting pick 19 for Brockman is absolutely expecting the world.

People carry on like Brockman is the 2nd coming of Cryil which he is miles from. TBH he has played 1-2 very good games and the rest he has either done nothing or maybe shown a brief flash of brilliance. Let him go for whatever the Eagles offer and move on.
I am pretty confident he will end up being nothing more than an average player who is in and out of their team for the rest of his career, happy to be proven wrong.
