If WC want Curtain, and Nth get compo pico 3, they really can’t risk trading with anyone else, as Curtain could go pick 2 - 5 (excluding Academy kids). So, North just have to be patient and they will get Reid relatively cheaply in a pick swap.

These were the picks after Brocky at Pick 46, Ollie Lord could have been our other choice but not sure if he was listed asDef or Fwd for the draft. Given we picked DGB already, Brocky was a good punt and we did unearth a rough jewel.

This is why we have to offer so much if we want to get it done. Our pick only offers a chance at Curtin, so the rest of the deal has to be good enough to offset the possibility North take him.

I agree it is BS and i tire at hearing about the supposed good will that we are due to be getting back but in this case we just have to cop what we get and hope West Coast are willing to be somewhat fair.

If they offer anything less pick 41 I think we should let him walk to the PSD. I know some people are gonna say “ but the points to match for McCabe”. There next pick 54 is worth about 200 points
And with the discount wouldn’t even move out pick next year if we went into deficit. So screw em send a message that we are willing to go down that road with our players and also recruiting other players!!

You can not have it both ways! We should be aiming for a second round pick, by the time it is moved around it will be more like a late 2nd round pick / early 3.
