Maybe F2 for GWS first pick and us taking Haynes off them 100%I think the Hawks should trade their F1 for either of the Giants or Cats first pick this year. Cats have said it's up for grabs.
3&6 or 3&7 as it stands now might be enough to get Reid. If not two top ten picks this year plus McCabe would be a very good draft for the Hawks.
For the last time, no.Basically that we are prepared to trade West Coast for pick 1 our first round pick this year and next as well as a player such as Ward or Connor Macdonald make of that what you will

Sorry I wasn't referring to your post when I posted tongue in cheek, I was making a light hearted point that some of the members were in fact comfortable in offering two first round picks and a player for pick one.For the last time, no.
That's what Eagles want, NOT what we're offering or even considering.
West Coast naturally will ask for a kings ransomFor the last time, no.

We are talking about a 2 pick upgradee.
Absolute badness the amount of assets we are willing to throw at this.
Personally I find 2 x top 5 picks for another top 5 pick very uncomfortable.
If Lewis and Reeves are injured for long patches in 2024 we could finish with a spoon. Are you happy to give away pick 3 and pick 1 (plus a good player drafted with a top 10 pic) for a pick 1?
If MM and Mitch traded our first this year and the next plus with either one of Ward/Mac1/Mac2 ……. I demand that Hawks members should be able to have access to the bank accounts of those Hawthorn officials involved in the deal!
Geez I was genuinely joking and my delivery is sometimes bad apologies to anyone that didn’t take it that way from my post that you replied to. I love MM and Sammy’s work don’t you worry about that ……. and I joined as a member just before the merger to have a say and joined big footy when we were at the bottom of the scraps early 2000. I’m not jumping anytime soonPerhaps you should consider if you'd like to support some other club, matey.

If we use a F1 and finiah in the bottom 5. It's a top 5 pick.Where's the two top 5 picks plus a player coming from?
I meant the news, no way we trade that kind of assetsIf we use a F1 and finiah in the bottom 5. It's a top 5 pick.
Cats would trade completely out of this draft?
One concept I like is to draft players now to let them develop and then go hard at the free agents next year or the year after. The idea being to have all of the pieces of the plan come together at the same time.Genuine question(because I'm too lazy to go back through the thread), is Hawthorn's first + F1 + Ward/one of the Mc's even a thing Hawthorn would put forward?
Personally, I don't ever recall Hawthorn making such a big play for a star player, let alone an unproven draftee.
It definitely fits the mould of a godfather offer but at the current list state of Hawthorn, surely they'd be better off reserving their ammo for at least this year and next year's drafts, then going all in on trades/ FA's to charge up the ladder?
I'm sure it's just another media beat up but would any supporters actually be happy with this trade? I'd think not.
