Chol is the big one for mine.

Not so much for his raw ability (although he does have a bit) but more for the structural effect of having a competent forward/ruck.

If Chol can play the role Kossy was playing in the latter part of the year (second key forward / ruck) but do it better we will be much better off.

Agree on the structural importance of the role he can play but Levi is ahead of him at GCS, can he really be very good?

So hard to say. Kosi had more senior games (12 v 8) but Chol seemed to go much better in the VFL

No it's not.

Cool kicked 44 goals when King was injured in 2022 and he was playing next to Casboult.
When King returned, Chol got bumped back to 3rd in the pecking order.

Kozi got dropped when Lewis was available and we decided to play a 187cm Greene and a resting ruck (Meek / Reeves) who couldn't kick goals.......instead of Kozi.

Basically, we preferred Meek or Reeves (or both) as forward options over Kozi nearly all the season

Chol was behind Casboult, King and Lukosius. Kosi should've been the number 1 forward when Lewis was out and yet he was playing VFL.

Chol is better than Kosi but that’s not really saying much. Chol more talented but doesn’t have the work rate.

Both aren’t taking us up the ladder to any serious heights.

Agreed. But I don't think he was ever truly part of their draft plan outside of the bluff game with the Eagles. They now at least have a couple KPD to play there next year whereas last week they had no one at all. It weakens their bluff somewhat.
