I think 2 years is a bit rough for Adams. Tall skinny kids take time to fill out and mature. Oh well they know him better than anyone so we trust their view on him
Could be more than what meets the eye? Coaches would know best in this situation. You’re correct though, not much point drafting a skinny key back and then delist them two years later. They take time to develop.

Seems weird one. Collins, Mac Andrew and a few others in development.

If they do want him we should look at a trade for Hollands and Sharp or even Moyle if we want a ruckman. Moyle is one of the best young VFL rucks going around.
I heard he was talking to Sydney this week to be fair.
Gold Coast happy to deal with Saints (good prior relations) in relation to pick 4 if we satisfy their requirement for points - should be manageable with outgoing players (including possibly Coffield).

West Coast will draft Harley Reid but if North don’t draft their WA boy The saints will at pick 4 and then will trade him for Reid along with next years first + other pick swaps in their favour. As west coast require multiple picks for their rebuild.

Saints get Harley Reid.
How do we trade for Reid if west coast need to select first? 😂

Re Gresh, the usual whispers go around blokes etc.

Basically seems like an alright dude but rates himself (rich athlete so understandable) but will go to whoever pays him the most.

Not really fussed where that is but if a bigger club can offer him more most footy opportunities then I’d say he’d be going there.

Obviously the usual caveat of take with a grain of salt etc etc
Saw them talking about him on the Essendon board.
They were talking small forward 400K x3.

Could George Stevens be the Patrick Cripps of this years draft?

Edmund kinda shuts down Coffield to the lions.

Dougal Howard absolutely on the market. The Sydney link I mentioned earlier crops up here

James Jordon? From Melbourne?
Thanks, couldn't place the name.

He's an interesting one as a Free Agent. Depending on what happens with Gresh, we would likely end up trading a later pick to not impact the compensation but could be a good cheap option to add to the midfield. Still only 22.

I’d be okay with Jordan.

Very vanilla midfielder who just tackles and accumulates.

Not a heap of hurt factor. But I would have loved abit more tackling on the weekend.
Sounds like more of what we've already got tbh

I would of thought a good Gresham replacement would be Charlie Spargo from Melbourne has had a couple go ahead of him for some reason.

Howard & later picks then for Hollands, as he was pick 7 in his draft year. Should play better back in Vic.

His value is low at the moment. I doubt he'd cost more than a second rounder. I'd rather separate those deals at that point. He's a very uneven and not particularly exciting VFL player in an excellent side. Sharp looks the better player out of the two. If you were going on pure excellent form Constable has had a great year but he's too slow and one position for Lyon.

Disagree.

i think he would be a decent addition.

also helps to start building out the list which is bereft of midfielders.

I will also add, this is very SOS. Load up on High Draft Picks and then Recycle players not good enough at better sides for next to no currency and hope something sticks or they deliver long enough for you to replace them with something better in a year or 2.

Dow Goldstein Jordan and Henry 100% fit that category.

Clark Billings Gresham Howard are all good to great footballers on their day. But wildly inconsistent.

Trade out and try bring in as good a pick as you can get either individually or via accumulation + the above mentioned players

Don’t rule out Goldstein to st kilda and jordon to stkilda according to Sammy Edmund

Jordan is no star but he's probably similar to Dmac in quality. I guess a younger DMac as long as he doesn't cost too much is an okay player, especially at 22 meaning he has scope to still take the next step.

I think that is the opposite to how I see him. I think of him as a good long kick and not very high production. I think of him as another DMac. More outside than inside not fast or slow but is a decent tackler and looks like he works hard. Maybe a Seb Ross replacement as a receiver inside mid.
