The issue is we're replacing depth options with other depth options. I'm tired of seeing VFL types run around in our AFL side. Would rather just bite the bullet and run the kids through there instead. A midfield of Ross Jones Dow Steele and Crouch isn't very exciting lol

George you just don't know - Mason Wood was looked at as depth but this year they were talking about him even being a All Australian early in the season , Stocker was said to be another delisted spud but showed more ability and passion some of the more experienced players we have on the team.

So in saying that who knows what Dow will bring , but I'll tell you one thing we will finally have speed at the fall of the ball which will only make our midfield better.

He will be given every opportunity to produce in the preseason and I'll put money on him that he will and that confidence will flow on into the season and that depth becomes one of the core of our revamped midfield.

Having Owens , Windhager and Dow running through the midfield with Steele and Crouch is going to be good to see with the slippery Henry and a 2nd seaason into Phillpou things are looking pretty good.
