Henry is OOC. The only power Fremantle has is to force the lad into the draft and to further antagonise player management.

They won’t do that.

They will deal eventually. As long as we offer something that is of value, and can be justified as being reasonably fair, then it will happen.
Pick 35.

Will come in a little.

Different perspective.

SOS just called Dodos bluff

I suspect he is planning on bending Belly over.

That’s righting 2 wrongs in the last decade in one trade period.
Whip hand held by Saints both with Dildo and Bellend

So we have rid ourselves of Dildo, now we move onto Mr Peter Bell for the 2nd half of Trade Period as we trade for Liam Henry.
If this week has been frustrating then don't expect anything different from Freo.
Lachie Schultz gets picked at 57 in 2018.
Gets delisted in 2020 and gets a lifeline by being put on Rookie List.
Does reasonably well without being a super star and asks for a trade to Collingwood and now Freo after a 1st Rd pick.
Liam Henry gets selected at P9 in 2019 but struggles to push Acres out of best 22.Acres to Carlton for a Future 3rd
Plays 3 good games in 2023 and they request a pick between 15 and 25.
So another long and agonising few days of waiting ahead for us supporters

Schultz is the better player so far. If we were losing him I'd want a bit back. To be far I probably would with Henry too but realistically his value is a mid second round pick IMO. Being uncontracted maybe a bit less.

Often seems to be quality KPD in the second and third round (T McCartin, S Taylor, S Collins etc).

Would absolutely move Billings on for a mid / late second (us paying some of his wage) and then punt that on a speculative KPD.

Edit: Harris Andrews @ Pick 61 has gone alright too.
Van Es is the slow burn

His value is in his potential (Henry)

Up and until now, he hasn’t show a lot.

It’s not like those back half of the season games he dominated them and cut teams apart.

He found the ball.

If we can send out future 2nd rounder for Henry i think that would be a good outcome. Looking at free agents next year would even things up. Get pick 40 for Coff and our later pick for Dow.
Take 4 picks under 40 to the draft and Dow/Henry would be a pretty good result. Maybe add Teakle as a DFA for some ruck depth would be handy.

Gringo has been awfully quite re Gresham, must be busy taking his poster down from the ceiling of his bedroom ;)

I would have rather keep him personally and hoped we could get him back to his best. It's a gamble that we took and hopefully now that it's done it doesn't bite us. It goes one of two ways. He gets back and meets his potential and we look stupid or he stays a not quite GOP and Essendon look stupid.

Now that he's gone I hope like hell it's the latter. Anyway, good luck to him and hope he stays injury free and has a good career....just not against us.

but i think 4 years ago he was worth paying more, and we needed to keep him. now we don't

Yep 100%, he was Owens when we signed him. Looked like he was the one player we had with elite potential. If he'd stayed fit and kept his progression it would have been a bargain. That's list management. Some work out some don't.

One reason why I don't mind keeping Billings, feel a bit about Coff, and Gres going, so Billings would be ok by me.

Yeah, he was stats-sheet hero. His kicking looked pretty ordinary from what I watched but he was already tapering off at that point. I didn't see his best games.

I'd rather be into next years draft in the second round. This one is pretty crap.

Understand, but we need more than that. Who knows what will happen with Doogs and if Van Es doesn't make it the cupboard is bare since we already sent Adams on his way.

Cordy. My mate Ethan Phillips. Even some other VFL or state league players. Burgess just got picked up by Adelaide to play back. Looks a very good player. KPBs are road blocks. If you look around you can find one. Caminiti is still an option too. Has great marking capabilities.

Looks absolutely disgusting, so it suits him xoxo
