What are you laughing at Samcro24? Do you like what you’ve seen from Curtin this year so far? He looks great with ball in hand but has struggled with implied or physical pressure. I would still prefer to see him get more games at AFL level this year, but there are some fairly clear weaknesses in his game atm that would be exposed in any position.

He would struggle there too, can’t handle any body contact atm and fumbled way too often for a midfield role. Hardly playing deep defense either, that’s Murray and Madgen.

Taylor and Nick Murray are the clear ins next week, alongside Tex, Rankine and maybe Cook. Standout games again and definitely our best so far.

Where is Bearded Clam? He would have enjoyed the first quarter where we excelled in guarding space. How can it be that none of the Souths players had a man on them? They could just waltz through the ground easily targetting teammates as they went. There is something very wrong with the game plan here. Either we are incapable of playing team defence, and should go man on man, or some different game plan is needed. At times, it looked like we were trying very hard to maximise our distance from the oppo players!
