There's a million reasons why luko chose Port but I don't think rozee was one

I honestly can't believe that Suns got full value for him given someone had to wear 2 years at near enough to double his actual playing value. He's a $600k player, I get having to pay him $2m for 2 years, but you do that so you get him for SFA at the trade table. You don't pay at both ends.

Upgrading is the pick owners market too, doubt we'd get much back from our F1 if we upgraded 4 to 2. Imagine blowing pick 6-10 to upgrade 2 spots in a group of players with very little difference seen between them in terms of overall quality.
Just say NO to trading. That's an idiotic move.

LOL. Gettable running with my pick 2 trade.

I've thought for a long time ADL and NM are the only logical pairing for the pick 2 trade. I've been reassured by everyone here I am crazy though.
just because we might d o it , doesn't mean its a good trade

If you have a true eye for talent, that’s all it takes, not countless hours watching your boys play junior footy
Eh, I do think watching a larger sample size makes you generally more informed of a prospect’s detailed strengths and weaknesses

I come in peace. Are you possibly getting 2 for Draper or someone like FOS

No idea.

I just like the idea of the Crows getting their 1st or 2nd preference on their draft board rather than their 4th preference. It's rare you get a chance like that and a team sitting above you that wants to do the opposite.

Deletes all the guess work:

1) what happens if North trade 2 to Richmond
2) what happens if North trade 2 to StK
3) who will North pick
4) who will Carlton pick

Back ourselves in and take our guy.

Not a super level of production throughout the year (though ended very strongly), not genuine KPP size like NM truly need, and still a bit of a question mark regarding his offensive polish, IMO (especially compared to someone like Trainor)

Very good young player, but 2 is IMO a decent reach

Taking the piss. But I watched one school boys game for Day and said he would be a gun.

Watched highlights of Danger and said we should pick him.

I’m going Smith over Draper based on highlights, let’s see if I’m right as to turns out the better player.

Definitely a fair enough viewpoint, I have Smith just higher than Draper in my pure rankings. But would still be happy with either

What’s the vibe you get from Langford?

So to try and make this more appealing than sliding our F1 I will put forward the only other trade that I see being mildly appealing to NM.

ADL: F3 + F3 (leaving us with 1 x F3)
SYD: F2 (need points for academy kids and this is a decent points haul)

ADL: 4 + F2 (Syd)
NM: 2

If North were taking Tauru at pick 2 regardless, then they're a F2 for free and still getting their guy. Richmond don't want to offer pick 6 and Melbourne are lurking around Tauru at 5. It's just a matter of if North are drafting for list needs or talent (and therefore willing to draft a midfielder at 2).
I did think of this as a possibility, probably because you guys have been talking about it on here first.

It basically gives North a bonus F2 for nothing and be "guaranteed" of getting Tauru at 4.

Just imagine how fast Bigfooty would crash and the Adelaide Crows breaking the internet if we picked Tauru at 2. :$

Tauru has looked pretty good when he's had squirts in the midfield, not many if any players with more potential upside in this draft and every chance in 3 or 4 years time he could be talked about as in the top couple of players in this draft given his athleticism, skillset and [potential growth]. 16 November 2006 Birthday and having played so little footy with ankle and hip tendonitis issues.

I wouldn’t really blink if north took him at pick 2 but they likely won’t need to
