Ben is a 3rd round pickExpected based on being potentially father-son prospects for Carlton? Kane Cornes seems to rate them rather highly.
I haven't seen a whole heap, however, if based off what I've read & seen then Ben is rated between 10 and 20 and Lucas 20 to 30 roughly.
My observations are just speculation on them being picked up and their Dad having a coaching role at Port

Cat B rookie. Does he look likely to make it?Moss is 198.
I wouldn't slide from 13, that's one of Hotton/Berry/Trainer/Lindsay guaranteed according to the latest phantom draft. Also could get a slider from the current top 10 in the phantom.I'd take that.
4 x picks under 30 would be a good get.
No can do. We're reserving our nepotism academy slots for more Hinkleys.Food for thought
Port pick swap 13 & 36 to Sydney for 19 & 22
Port then trade at 19 for Ben Camporeale and at 22 for Lucas Camporeale.
The twins have not nominated Carlton for father-son.
Scott Camporeale (their Dad) joins Port as new Coach of SANFL Magpies.
29 pick used to get Benny Barrett.
Then rest to either get Port father-sons or they're rookie listed.
Think Ben Camporeale was inside mid? And Lucas as wing/half back. Maybe get them both trained for wings opposite one another.
Honestly, I think he spend more time concussed than on the field. That’s not even a joke, he was out for too long and I hope he’s ok. It’ll take a bit of courage to put the boots on again.Only really played 1 game, 2nd game he got concussed. So too early to tell.
Hotton is the one. A chance he doesn't make it to our pick though.Taj Hotton, Kale Gerryen, Rome Burgoyne and Benny Barrett if he makes it through to a cat B rookie.
That’s enough draftees. We’ve carried too many physically immature project players the last few years.
Next year’s draft we’ll have to find a big bodied inside mid.
Good Port adelaide name too.Talking myself into Cooper Hynes. Go full bash brothers with him and SPP in the high half forward role.
We need to trade 13 back with GWS & Sydney
13 and 36 for 15 or 16 and 21 (GWS)
15/16 and 29 for 19,22
End up with
19,21,22 - sweet spot in this draft
May trade out one live to a desperate club for a F1
If we do the above Houston trade becomes
Houston and 39 for Luko, 19 and 21/22
That’s much more palatable!
Yep, ship out two "stars", get two firsts for each of them. Imagine thatBloody hell. After multiple premierships Richmond with 7 "1st round" picks
That's how you do it Port.
i would love Bo Allen, But i doubt he makes it past west coast at pick 12.
If Bo Allen does, who do we pick: Taj Hotten or Bo Allen?
Receives: Jack Lukosius, Joe Richards, Rory Atkins, picks 13, 29, 36 and 50
Gives up: Dan Houston, picks 39 and 58, 2025 first-round pick
The way I cut it up:
50 and 58 cancel each other out
36 and 39 cancel each other out
Lukosius for the 2025 first round pick - fair enough
Richards, Atkins, 13, 29 for Houston - if that 29 was 10 to 15, I'm happy.
If we get real value from 13 and 29, the trade will shift back in our favour.
And personal sponsorship from local beer producer...Good Port adelaide name too.

Really like Hotton. Reminds me of Dunkley.Hotton is the one. A chance he doesn't make it to our pick though.
He also recommended to Geoff Parker that we draft Lachie Charleson, can't get them all right...given his eye for Butters
it's time to unleash Robbie Gray as the Talent-Picking Savant we all know he is
it's time to let the man cook
Let’s give Charleson a minute, think he is a Small Wingman rather than a Small Forward. Will be MUCH better in 2025!He also recommended to Geoff Parker that we draft Lachie Charleson, can't get them all right...
Pick 13: Smilie, Langford, Allen, Reid, Hotton, Lindsay, Tauru, Draper, Welsh (bid) - any of these would be perfect.Potential Draftees with out picks in hand
- understand we would need to cut deep into our list but maybe worth it with next years compromised draft and Tasmania coming into the draft in 2026
Pick 13 - Bo Allan (191 cm Inside Mid) if he slides / Taj Hotton Foward/Mid (around our pick)
Pick 29 - Kayle Gerreyn (Ruck Forward)
Pick 36 - Cooper Hynes 190cm Mid/Forward (plays like SPP)
Pick 50 - Not sure but maybe local talent ? Charlie West (195cm) / Charlie Nicholls (197cm) (Both are SA KPFs)
Pick 94 - Rome Burgoyne F/S this pick will be coming forward to the 60s
Rookie Cat B - Hopefully Benny Barrett NGA
Rookie Cat A - If we have list space Jacob Molier (SA boy athletic ruck who could be turned into a KPD/KPF)
If we bid on Welsh at any of our picks our licence should be rescinded and Alberton should be bulldozedPick 13: Smilie, Langford, Allen, Reid, Hotton, Lindsay, Tauru, Draper, Welsh (bid) - any of these would be perfect.
Pick 29: Gerreyn, Dodson, Welsh (bid)
Pick 36: Hargrave
Pick 50: L.Evans, Barrett/R.Burgoyne (bid match)
Nah, not worth that much. Earlier in the draft yes, later in the draft, its worth a Rory. They don't really cancel each other out because clubs fight tooth and nail over a few draft spots because of the points associated with the picks.
36 and 50 is worth 775 points (pick 24-25) while 39 and 58 is worth 616 points (pick 30-31) and if you're trading with a club that needs points that's a difference of six places in the draft.
