Hopefully berry bucks the trend of small forwards drafted in the 1st round not working out

Brisbane built their small forwards from first rounders and they are the template for how to build a premiership.

I am happy with Joe Berry…….he isn’t a midget, he’s [emoji6]’ tall and is a class act who kicks and sets up goals……….. I don’t understand why we gave up a pick in the [emoji[emoji6][emoji6]]s for no obvious reason ????

I am happy with that pick… would have preffered reid or allen, but Berry is fine. It’s a need for us as much as any other position.

Christ feel like weve traded out pick 5 and JHFs first born for pick 109 the way people are carrying on. So what youre favourite didnt get picked for all the 2 week draft experts where Parker and Co have probably been following Joe for 2 years.

Lots of claims that Armstrong/Shannahan/Reid etc are already better than Berry when absolutely none of them have even touched a footy at AFL level nor play a similar position to Berry. 45 could easily be another Nathan Blee

By all accounts he's a bit of a wizard. Our small forward stocks are looking a lot better with Rioli, Berry and Richards

So we were keen on Berry

Before the draft WC had 12, we had 13, Freo 14.

Twomey had WCE at 15, us at 16, Freo at 17 and he had Freo taking berry so they were keen.

WTF is going on to give away 45? What did we get from WCE given they got to take Bo Allen before Freo did??
