Don't want to jinx any kid

7. Who is going to be the most fun to watch?

Joe Berry

8. Who is your Smokey from outside the top 20 or so?

To have a great career? Adrian Cole

I'm not the gambling type but I'd rather stick with 7 & 8 than trade up. No guarantee we get Lalor even at 2, and is he THAT much better than Smilie who will probably still be on the board at 7 that we sacrifice our two top ten picks for him and a teens pick?

It's a deep draft

The gun midfielders look to be thinning out once it hits pick 7-8.

If all clubs go with Cal Twomeys Phantom Draft ...

We may be left with only one midfielder choice.

North will take the flying Viking. So the will push another to our selection. I feel the stars an aligning for us to take smillie.

Na. Smillie is worth the risk. He’s already 195.5. That’s bigger than Cripps and his underage season has been a lot better
I think they're referring to the pick after we've locked in Smillie with our first

I can't see Viking being available. I wouldn't be mad about Armstrong but Travaglia/Lindsay are still the two guys I'd take

At that size he could end up an awesome forward if not a mid.

With his attributes I'd be shocked if he gets to our pick. But someone has to slide so fingers crossed.

Based on Richmond getting 6 from GC and swapping it with North for 2 (a few other picks to go Norths way) - thinking it will now go .....

Richmond P1 - FOS
Richmond P2 - Lalor
West Coast P3 - Jagga (compliments Reid)
Adelaide P4 - Draper
Melbourne P5 - Langford or Smillie
North P6 - Tauru
Saints P7 - Smillie or Langford
Saints P8 - Lindsay or Reid
Melbourne P9 - Armstrong

Obviously West Coast's Pick 3 could be up for grabs which could change things

Agree on all of those. If (big if) we able to trade 8 to GWS for 15+16... does Reid get through to 15?

GWS P8 - Travaglia
Melbourne P9 - Armstrong
North P10 - Berry (mids sorted, small fwd a massive need)
Richmond P11 - Shanahan (go tall after FOS+Lalor)
Carlton P12 - Lindsay (previously linked)
Port P13 - Trainor (strong mids, their docs are bound to give this the OK)
Carlton P14 - Allan (bigger mid as a POD to Lindsay)
St Kilda P15 - Reid
St Kilda P16 - Hotton

North, Blues and whoever ends up with pick 13 probably the biggest threats. But not impossible. Barrat or MWhitlock at 27 would round these picks out nicely.

This is probably all wishful thinking but in reality I would be happy with any two of the above. Probably end up with the guy coming off an ACL and the guy with multiple concussions

I'd be strangely comfortable with Trainor and Hotton at 15/16

Very very very high risk strategy that one. And to select 2 high risk players.
It'll be interesting to see who falls out the bottom at 27. If we still have it that is..
