Has a business in Sydney apparently*. Wonder if it is transferable or if doing well whether it could expand into another state. I understand the company is not in the rocket science business. Otherwise

Fox has had some absolute howlers kicking at goal let's not forget. Hayward at least kicks as many as he misses.

None of our out of contract players are expendable. We're assuming we're tight on cap space.

What the club would do with the cap isn't just this year it's next when Chad is off contract as the big one there's others but he's the big fish with WA clubs loaded. We need to remember this, clubs don't just look at how can we manage the cap this year, they would be looking 2-3 maybe even 4 years down the track.

I'd expect Fox to have some howlers he isn't a full time forward, what I don't expect is a forward who is meant to be one continually doing it. Why isn't he improving on it? This could be tied into the forward coach too, surely they know about it.

I feel like someone’s been reading this thread…
Great article.

I've mentioned this quite a few times that the half forwards (and often the half backs) are the whipping boys in every AFL team. If you look through the names in that article almost all of them have been heavily criticised and scapegoated by their own teams supporters throughout their careers. If Hayward goes I'm sure it won't take long for a new scapegoat to emerge.

I think we worry wayyy too much about what other clubs are doing.

Who outside of our best 22 has Haywards running power and endurance, combined with his marking and ability to hit the score board to replace him at half forward?

Charlie Curnow.

Hayward doesn't sound like he is interested in going anywhere else.

Will be disappointing for some.

If you ever want a “good” read, have a look at Hayward‘s twitter feed.

My personal favourite: “I have tinea”, but it’s an account filled with head-scratching (or in Will’s tinea-infested case, all over scratching) anecdotes.

Don't want the scoreboard hit , i want the ball to go between the bigger posts with a drop punt !

I think you can answer those questions in different ways without saying what you intend to do.

And I think his answer sounded like someone who wants to re-sign with us, not leave.
Sounded to me like a classic politician's non-answer. Although in this case, I think the non-answer was actually true. He probably has little to say on his contract negotiations because there's probably been little progress made on his contract negotiations, as the club's been tied up getting the others done.
