Stringer seems like a free hit. He would be a better player in our system. I'm not sure why we don't just take a punt. A much better option than Amartey

30 plus, not know for defensive efforts and been associated with less than saviour people....

Also asking price.

We NEED players with a bit of grunt and mongrel. We are a pretty soft side. he would give us a bit of something. The only one we have is Paps

Sure, we also need hard edge defensive efforts.

Stringer ain't it.

Acting like 3am still in the club here...

Of all the things I would associate with Jake Stringer, "grunt and mongrel" would not be it.

I wouldn't say Papley has those in spades, either.

But it's also worth considering that it may not be a case of Stringer taking Amartey's place, but Parker's place. If Horse decides to go with three talls again, then we will find ourselves with three talls AND two medium talls. That's a whole lot of slowness and a whole lack of pressure at ground level.

I think it's silly of the dogs to knock the their offer back particularly as they will probably get him anyway.

I’m actually okay with it and if I were Hawks or Saints I’m taking him.

Crows threatening to walk Peatling to the pre season draft. it's not just us anymore getting reamed by them.

If horse decides to stay with this set up, nothing will change.
Why do so many people expect if you continue to do the same thing, the result will be different?
