Tom Morris reporting we have met with Ben Paton from St Kilda - was going ok a couple of years ago
Not rapt with his injury history, and we have Fox in the short term, but maybe as a medium defensive option if injuries strike several players. No point as a half back.Don’t hate this one

Probably suggests Mills back into the Midfield mix i would think. We don’t have much after Fox though
Saw something similar re. HawksI'm hearing Saints picks 8 and 32 for Swans 19, 22, 44.
I didn't even know that. Never heard of him lolI wouldn't be able to pick Paton out if a lineup. I know he played for the Saints but that's it
Top 10 pick, if this really is a super draft is a great getI'm hearing Saints picks 8 and 32 for Swans 19, 22, 44.
Think thats a big win next year tbh because it could allow us extra currency to match our 3 but allow us potentially a chance of getting a first that gets ahead of the matchesSaw something similar re. Hawks
19 and F3, for 33 and F1 (linked to Carlton)
And our track history of Top 10 picks outside of the academy is….?Top 10 pick, if this really is a super draft is a great get
Works out to actual pick 10 if you account for Ashcroft, Lombard and Kako.Top 10 pick, if this really is a super draft is a great get

Seems far fetchedYou need to get your ears checked.
59 will come in. And yes, we could find a good player there, plenty of late picks have turned out well. Neale was pick 58. Dawson was in the 50s, we used pick 53 last year.Seems odd that we've open up more senior list spots (Francis & Hamling) if we only intended to take 2 at the draft.
(and yes, I know, we also have pick 59 .... but really, are we hanging our hopes on finding a good 'un at 59?)
