He is in the Bevo camp.Ugle-Hagan a 2 year deal with the Dogs. Confirmed.
I don't think this is a surprise.

Defacto relationship, where there is a risk of change of coach and Bulldogs go through a rebuild. He may want to keep options open to play at a club in finals contention. Two years is interesting. Almost like an engagement instead of a marriage.
If Hayward chases $’s it will free up $450-500k. I can’t believe we have been paying more.
Aside from using the savings on essential players, I would be upping the Gus contract for next year, even if only by a small amount as an act of faith.
It might help us keep him.
On drafting provided Warner jnr, jnr shows some form and grows an inch or two I reckon it would be smart to draft him. This would make it harder for the Weasels to prise The Chad out.
Dubai Quacker do you have any intell on how he is going?
Seeing the blindingly obvious. Shakes headMid Season Draft:
Talk on the Mid Week Tackle
- AFL have 'realised' it goes against their attempts to even up the comp as it clearly favours Vic clubs....to which the rest of us go "FINALLY! they get it!"
- Will probably be picks only
Does Mills really have the same skill set as Hayward? I couldn't see Mills playing that roleThe Mills debate.
We have a pretty solid midfield at the moment with Parker, Sheldrick and Cleary waiting to get in. Assuming no injuries, where does Mills play?
Defence
Midfield
Wing
Forward
If Hayward does go, Mills would make a pretty awesome medium tall. He is a great mark. Smart. Good distributor. Very good kick at goal.
It’s not looking great for Ashton - he didn’t make the initial WA U18’s squad of 30.If Hayward chases $’s it will free up $450-500k. I can’t believe we have been paying more.

satarisPurely speculation but I think we will be moving on some players and trading others this off season. Young, Cuningham, Kennedy etc.
List is a bit out of whack …
Have I got it right that he more or less stopped growing? It’s not looking great for Ashton - he didn’t make the initial WA U18’s squad of 30.
Another 5 will be added to the squad based on upcoming WAFL performances - and some kids do rise rapidly in their draft year, but he’d be coming from a long way back.
While I think he’s a better midfielder, I agree he would add most value (to our current squad) as the heir apparent to Rampe.Hard to see him doing a lot this year. IMO Rampe replacement is most value to the team.
Suspect we will rejig our attack more like the Pies without a medium if Hayward goes.
sataris would take him in a heartbeatPlease, take him.
Look I think Young has all the tools to be a good player. Perhaps even an AA squad type... He was phenomenal in his first year with us and showed that potential while we were struck down with KPD injuries that year.sataris would take him in a heartbeat
Not sure, but the WAFL site lists him at 171cm and 66kg - so it appears you might be right.Have I got it right that he more or less stopped growing?
About 80% of an Errol. Ouch. Not sure, but the WAFL site lists him at 171cm and 66kg - so it appears you might be right.
Got to 171cm then channeled all his power into the Chad. Not sure, but the WAFL site lists him at 171cm and 66kg - so it appears you might be right.
Mills isn’t a forwards a holeIf Hayward goes, then Mills or Fox can play up forward / push up as an outlet, for the next couple of seasons. Or down back. Or alternate.
Obviously Mills is a better goal kicker, but we might want a bigger role for the captain.
A hole?Mills isn’t a forwards a hole

The no money bit is just Vic-media bullshit. I’m more in disbelief that Carlton can throw big money at Will Hayward and possibly Charlie Cameron next year without a whimper of questioning from the Vic-media.What I want to know is why do we apparently have no money and yet we're into Perryman? I just don't understand it. Especially since we're keen to keep Hayward. Do we have the money for both of them plus re-sign Logan or is Perryman our Hayward back up? You'd think if we can't afford to keep Hayward then it wouldn't be enough to entice Perryman. Or do we just not rate Hayward as much as everyone else? Do we have the cash, we're just holding off from offering it because he's not worth it? It's all very confusing

Unfortunately Weitering apparently despises playing with him and he seemingly has no understanding of how to position himself in a zone defense. Just wanders into no mans land time and time again and time and time again seems to find himself 20m on the wrong side of his direct opponent. He's good when he gets assigned a direct opponent and is allowed to just stick to them like glue in the defensive 50 all game, but that's Weiterings position in our defense.
Talk was last year that Weitering actually told the coaching group he can't play with the bloke and that he'd like Kemp to take his place despite being undersized and still quite new to the position. Just so happened to coincide with our form turning around massively and our defense looking the the rock of Gibraltar afterwards.
So if you want Young, I think there's a definite possibility that he'll be available. I think he's totally lost his confidence at the Blues (which happened at the Dogs too according to their supporters) and may look to find somewhere else to call home.
The Victorian Sombrero in play. The no money bit is just Vic-media bullshit. I’m more in disbelief that Carlton can throw big money at Will Hayward and possibly Charlie Cameron next year without a whimper of questioning from the Vic-media.
