Called an out on the full on Jezza what kind of sorcery is this?
I wonder if Jezza will learn what the boundary line is for from this match.

In my time of watching AFL I can't remember another period where the H&A competition has been dominated by a bunch of chokers.

Port - Since 2014 multiple top 4 finishes including a minor premiership, not a single grand final.
Brisbane - 2019 finished 2nd on the ladder, out in straight sets. 2020 had a chance for all finals at the Gabba, choked it up big time in the prelim. 2021 out in straight sets again. 2022 finally have a crack in the finals but can't do it from outside the top 4. 2023 make a GF.
Geelong - Finish top 4 in 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019 (minor premier), not a single GF appearance. Have turned the table a bit making a GF in 2020 and premiership in 2022.

What's the deal with this and will the competition finally move past these pretenders?
There have been some pretty good players in some of those teams but the game plans have left a lot to be desired. 2025 and onwards is absolutely primed for a Hawks dynasty.

Nice mark and goal by Charlie Cameron.

**** Jeremy Cameron.

Charlie is only Cameron I'm cheering for.

I just saw someone behind the goals in a Hawks scarf.

There was a bloke with a hawthorn guernsey and scarf on at the boundary line where Charlie Cameron lined up for goal, or Lohman. One of those.

Yes, nice goal Zac Bailey.

Fair reason too. Terrible free kick.

I actually think the umpire paid it against a different Geelong player who was holding on to a different Lion and nobody noticed.
