Has a really high ceiling, thought his first half was excellent. Free agent next year...If there's one player I would love us to lure over to the HAWKS it would be Noah Balta. I feel he is the missing piece. (he could play the Brian Lake role for us). I feel he would be gettable and would be the best fit for this team. Can play on the gorillas and is a very good intercepter at the same time.
I've thought about this, will be intriguing to see how Clarko approaches itHawthorn play North Melbourne in the last round could we see best mates Liam Shiels, Jack Gunston & Luke Breust all on the same day and get chaired off all together??
Guessing any new F/S changes might mean Ky could be a better chance of coming here.Would be wrapped if we landed Bailey Smith (F1) Battle (f/a) R1 2024 draft pick, Cody Anderson and Ned Maginness
Yes I think he is worth it, 194 cm Mid and I feel he plays a role similar to Nash.
I am unsure about Ky Burgoyne. I haven’t followed his games or seen much media about him.
However would be a fairy tale if we rookied him. Comes from a great footy family as we all know. Keen to see if the Hawks have more interest in young Ky.

Hopefully won’t be our last match of the yearHawthorn play North Melbourne in the last round could we see best mates Liam Shiels, Jack Gunston & Luke Breust all on the same day and get chaired off all together??
From us? Yes.Is there really any interest in Harry Perryman?
Reports on Friday were we want Gunston and Breust to play on.
If we bring in 2 free agents/trades we will need to get rid of 7 players.
We need to remove two players from the rookie list just to get back to the allowed numbers (if Phillips stays)
And from him?From us? Yes.
Yes, but we’re not the only club. From him?
So $$$ thenYes, but we’re not the only club.
It's a little more convoluted than that, to the point where I'm not sure, but to my understanding...
Clubs must draft THREE to their senior list, but rookie elevations can count as draftees.
At the moment, with 2 extra players on our senior and CatA rookie list, (of which only 36 are senior listed, when the max is 38) we could...purely theoretically, you understand... only get rid of two rookies, and one from the senior list...elevate 2 rookies to the senior list, and only take ONE at the draft.
Not that that is what will happen, of course...it definitely won't; just making the point.
The flexibility in senior lists (36-38), when we currently only have 36, gives us juggling options
We don’t have room on the rookie list to do much this year and can’t see us taking just the one pick at the national draft. Would think Butler is the one to get delisted and then rookied. There are a lot of options in terms of managing the list and meeting the requisite 3 draft picks. For example, the club has the option to negotiate with both Breust and/or Gunston to agree to delist and relist in either the National, PSD or rookie draft.
Saw a rumour that Butters will return to Victoria "at some stage". Hope we can put in the work now for a play in 2026 when he's a RFA.
