There's definitely bad-blood between the Bulldogs and Smith. They shouldn't be doing him any favours, nor should they be assisting a Premiership rival with a bargain deal.
Geelong should be forced to pay a fair price for a dynamic 10 year player, or Smith can try his luck in the draft.

If the Baz trade doesn't go through clubs will have 6 weeks to try to open his mind to move elsewhere.

So how come no AFL mediation?

Turned on the Trade Radio livestream as I figured there might be something going on at this point.

Nope.

Just the same shit on loop...

"We're going to a break. Don't go anywhere so you don't miss anything!"
random camera footage of bored club officials having chats among themselves at tables and in hallways or otherwise playing on their phones
"And we're back. Here's a list of all the trades that still haven't happened yet..."
"Club xyz have just entered the building. They'd be feeling good/bad about what they've achieved so far..."
"And now it's time for a quick break. Don't go anywhere..."

Blow. My. Brains. Out.
Everyone their should be sacked and made to buy a rheem every year until their retired

Could he? Has he even done his coaching credentials? I have always thought Sam was the more natural coaching transition of the two of them. I have no doubt Hodge would be one of the best motivators out there - but in terms of gameday nous and tactical stuff I think Sam's footy IQ has him beat - which isn't a knock on Hodge it's just how I highly I rate Sam. He was doing his coaching credentials while still playing and has worked towards getting to where he is now since we were winning flags. I just don't see Hodgey as a head coach.
My comments have nothing to do with Sam. Hodgey could do anything in football imo, let's just hope we get him back to the club. I'd love nothing more than Sam, Hodgey, Roughy and Hale all involved in our next premiership.

As for Hodgey not being suitable as a head coach, the same was likley said about Lethal before he become the goat.
