Agree with that ā¦ but his best is behind him.
McDonald this year and target Aleer next.Of course, heās 32 years old and he is available for free, the same applies to Haynes, but unless we are trading for a ready made CHB, then we dont have many other options.
Iāve switched it off, but McDonald was playing well tonight without May and Lever there as support.
The bar is low, whoever we target needs to be better than Young, McDonald is available and heās a lot better, even if heās past his best.
I also like the idea of going after him because it frees up our draft capital to target other areas of need.
1 step back, 2 steps forwardMcGovern Weitering Saad
Newman Aleer Houston
Acres Cripps O.Hollands
Berry McKay Fogarty
Williams Curnow Kemp
Dekoning Walsh Cowan
Cerra Kennedy Docherty E.Hollands
I could live with this if it was somehow possible. I suspect it wouldn't be with our current draft picks, but if it was Id definitely allow it
who do you likeI think Draper is decent but not worth moving up for.
Personally would prefer to pick up Cumming instead of Houston as a FA and keep the extra draft picks but who knows whats gonna happen1 step back, 2 steps forward
So, do we trade Aleer for a second rounder, then over pay for Cumming in $ās to give GWS end of first round compo? Would have to forego Haynes, but could live with that if have Aleer.Personally would prefer to pick up Cumming instead of Houston as a FA and keep the extra draft picks but who knows whats gonna happen
Keep Martin and get him right
Cunners, Marchy and SD go, so already our injuries down 3
Any trade involving Martin has him playing 20+ games next year at his new club and us receiving a pick who will never play senior football for the Blues
Cody Walker when he comes in. Before that unless we get gifted priority picks somehow we aren't finding one for cheap

Could argue that one on Aleerās limited game time. Leaves us with our first rounder and pay for the Campos with chump change.
If we are throwing hypotheticals, reckon that is a good one.
He was 15 when he played in this vid, by the time he hits the big league the only thing he'll need to worry about is finding a good cabinet maker to fit all his trophies and medals inSo many highlights from 1 game. He is going to be something special!
My only suggestion, get a kicking coach!
His D.O.B when I search is 26/1/2008.He was 15 when he played in this vid, by the time he hits the big league the only thing he'll need to worry about is finding a good cabinet maker to fit all his trophies and medals in
The debate comes down to coaching
Weāve got elite players but we need to play a more modern game (less predictable) and assign tasks to each player.
We need to get creative.
Not trade our elite players.
Personally, i'd keep Martin....if our homework says his war wounds are fixable.... reckon AR might have pushed a few too hard/far....just my supposition though.Forget about Petracca and Houston they cost too much, we need to do the following
- Get Aleer, Rachele and Haynes.
- Delist all of Martin, Marchbank, Cuningham and S Durdin.
- Trade Owies if we canāt get Rachele otherwise keep him.
- Trade Pitto if we get an offer that is overs.
- Draft OāFarrell and Campo boys in the draft.
- Send Cerra off to see a specialist to get his hamstring fixed.
- New S&C team get a full preseason into Walsh.
- Play Kemp forward.
- Get SOS and Doc back in the team.
= Premiership.
debut game, adrenalin flowing, rushed a few kicks....no doubt was feeling the heat.So many highlights from 1 game. He is going to be something special!

Martin hasnāt managed 20 games since 2017, not happening.Keep Martin and get him right
Cunners, Marchy and SD go, so already our injuries down 3
Any trade involving Martin has him playing 20+ games next year at his new club and us receiving a pick who will never play senior football for the Blues
Wasn't Rachelle a bushy? The Hollands should know him well enough. If we can manage to keep this year's first and bring in Aleer and Rachelle you'd take that in a heartbeat
Where a young player is completely disaffected (and don't know if this is the case here), deals get done....Crows wouldnāt release Rachele for anything but a top 10 pick as a bare minimum and rightfully so. He was a former pick 6 and heās tracking just as well as Rankine at the same age if not slightly better. Heās also contracted for like another 4 or 5 years. He may want out (yet to be proven) but Crows hold the whip hand in any negotiations. Canāt see that one coming to fruition for us even if it would be a nice pickup.
Aleer on the other hand could easily be convinced for the opportunity of senior game time in a contending team, probably a pay rise and extra years tacked on to that contract too. Heād be an amazing acquisition. We need an athletic tall whoās also decent 1-on-1. Canāt have a Weitering clone whoās slow. Aleer is athletic, strong in the air, and decent body strength.
