If we did get Warner I hope he gets to play his same style he plays at Sydney and JL doesn’t put a leash on him and we don’t get to see his burst and flair

Sydney play Warner away from the ball quite a bit, nearly half the opportunities don't have him in the bounce. He makes things happen forward.

I'm not at all worried.

If the 2 years were front loaded why would Richmond want the lower paid years out ?

They were 2x separate thoughts.
1. If it was front ended, the player may look to leave now they're in the lean years.
2. if it was back ended, the club may be looking to move it on.

IF we get Warner he would be our offensive hub. He has spent more and more time forward lately, and he's been dominant either kicking goals or setting them up. I would start him at most centre square bounces, because he is a centre square weapon with his ability to get out the front of the square from stoppage. But I would start Brayshaw at HFF, and have him move straight into Warner's mid role. Warner can then float forward and play a front half game. Not deep forward but just as that connective piece/1-on-1 weapon we can rely on. Would suit both of those guys' strengths.

Honestly think he would transform our team, and don't think theres a player out there even close in terms of impact he would have. I would drag my balls through 100km of broken glass to get him

Not sure if he has been mentioned, but it seems that Daniel Curtin wants to return home, and has mentioned Fremantle as his want if/whenhe gets home.
How would he fit into our line up.Doesn't seem to be a fit for the Crows.
It seems so many coming back and either Fremantle wanting them, or they wanting to come to Fremantle, could be some moved out.
Would it begin with Erasmus, Brodie etc.
I don't usually follow the trades and management of players.But am more than a bit interested.
Are Fremantle becoming a club of destinantion!!

Actually on that, have any of your trade prophesies ever come true? Nostradamas posted thousands of really vague predictions, his hit rate was probably only about 1%, but everyone thought he was a genius.

Would love to know if any of your very specific predictions have ever played out. If it happens we might have to build a statue of you next to Bon Scott at Freo harbour.

Ollie Murphy or Davies, and one of the first round picks may get it done.

I just think you are talking about spending draft capital upgrading two depth kids who were late draft picks. His potential to become another Chappy would be probably as much as him becoming a swingman.

I'd much rather use that Capital on a ready made player who can slot in or a high draft pick in a position of need, even if it means we flip something to next years draft. Tall defenders rank along side inside mids and ruckman as far as list priority goes.

Dan Curtin and Chapman would be more damaging inside mid than on the wing in my opinion.
