45. Tom Gross
Oakleigh Chargers/Vic Metro
MID/FWD, 181cm
2024 Champs: 4 games, 20.0 disposals, 5.2 marks, 0.5 goals
Talent League: 8 games, 22.3 disposals, 3.8 marks, 0.9 goals

Gross has suitors higher than this mark. The tough and rugged on-baller has become more of a forward option at this point, playing the majority of his campaign at half forward where his high-flying exploits were a feature. Gross is old school in his attack on the ball and tough temperament, but lacks the skill of others above this mark.

Best traits similar to: Matt Kennedy

Ohh yep somehow I completely missed that

Lions pick 34 - 542 points
Our picks 52,55,60- 599 points

We trade 66 to carlton for 69 and 71

Brisbane need to consolidate list spots, which is why they traded 59 for 60 and 66 despite losing points to do it. They wouldn’t go back to having more picks even if it meant having more points.

Apparently, the list spot thing doesn't matter once the draft is open. It's only about what picks you can take into the draft. Once the draft is open, they can split picks and have more picks than they have list spots.

How does that work?

We all know that Gold Coast put in a bid for Nick Daicos at #4 which we matched with picks #38 etc.

The record shows that Nick Daicos was a pick #4, not a pick #38 etc.
When a bid is put in the club matching essentially purchases the pick from the bidding club for their accumulated points. Then all subsequent picks are pushed back by one.
It’s a messy system but that’s the long and short of it.
Andrews was selected under the previous system where the club simply used their next available pick to match, done before trade week. If a bid was matched then the player was tied to the pick they matched with on draft night.

They can trade as many picks in as they want during live trading on draft night.

If we had picks in the first round, this would be cool.

ultimately they would like an nfl draft 1st day kind of fan attendance.

Hate to say I told you so (not to you specifically) but I did mention a month ago that writing Sims off as a potential draftee for us based on early power rankings was silly. Suddenly a number of phantoms and power rankings have him in our range.
Sims would be good to have in the group. He'd get them laughing. He's a real card.

With how late our Picks Are I am finding hard to find Favorites I would love us to Draft

Just need to be Tall
And need to be able to football.
