AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
Trust me, he was rated quite high in 22. Hawthorn done well hiding him.He didn't play under 18s in 2022, but fans will talk up their FS picks no matter what. Surely one of the Monkhurst boys is coming through soon.
He kicked a lot of goals in VAFA Under 19s. Not sure if that was choice to play there or whether the TAC guys passed him over initially?I'm not sure how hawthorn did it but early in 2022 Dear was rated as a late first round pick. His talent was there for all to see. **** I hate hawthorn
Might be for the best if we ceased operating on the ‘never never’ and endlessly using future picks and backending contracts (to seek glory for the present administration).I think the AFL would allow us to trade a third out with one of our picks, with a second coming back - only real possibility I can see in terms of us trading out a pick.
With tassie coming in 2027, I can understand going all in over the next 2 years. We don't know what the drafting will look like after tassie.Might be for the best if we ceased operating on the ‘never never’ and endlessly using future picks and backending contracts (to seek glory for the present administration).
Rather than hoping we trade up in the draft, I'm now hoping we trade a pick out with a third for second upgrade. 2nd round picks will be the prime matching picks next year, and I don't think they are going to be easy to come by if Mcguane goes high. And ultimately I don't think moving up a few spots at that stage makes much difference in the likelihood of drafting a senior player.Might be for the best if we ceased operating on the ‘never never’ and endlessly using future picks and backending contracts (to seek glory for the present administration).
We'll also have Sav's and Ant's boys down the track. He didn't play under 18s in 2022, but fans will talk up their FS picks no matter what. Surely one of the Monkhurst boys is coming through soon.
And we've hidden Bucks's kids in motorcross so we can snatch them as Category B recruits. We'll also have Sav's and Ant's boys down the track.
I agree with the 2 key position players being taken - and in fact I am not opposed to taking 3 - and a big-bodied mid-fielder who is not only good on the inside but also possesses good skills & especially when it comes to kicking. We do not need turnover merchants in 2024/25.3 more days until night 1
4 for night 2.
Hopefully two KPP's and a mid/small forward.
Would have to payout one of AJ or markov in order to make a 4th selection, but I do share the same sentiment.I agree with the 2 key position players being taken - and in fact I am not opposed to taking 3 - and a big-bodied mid-fielder who is not only good on the inside but also possesses good skills & especially when it comes to kicking. Why not bothWould have to payout one of AJ or markov in order to make a 4th selection.
I like markov, think last years downyear was due to complacency . It doesnt hurt to have another speedy back on the list. I fear some team will pick him up.Why not both
I would almost put my house on him not getting picked up but I've been wrong beforeI like markov, think last years downyear was due to complacency . It doesnt hurt to have another speedy back on the list. I fear some team will pick him up.
Which one of the 3 do you think we'll take, they can all playCalling it now, collingwood will draft Archer Day-Wicks.
