Why would Adelaide trade up to pick Draper? No Vic club will pick him unless he slides past Adelaide’s first pick.

Carlton have flown over to Adelaide to meet with him twice.

I don't think that talent is going to propel them to a flag.

They aren't exactly losing it either, it could result in a top 5 pick next year.

I just don't see Richmond trading 2 of their picks and the picks they will trade aren't good enough.

I don't see anyone in the top 10/11 trading a pick and GWS is the only landing spot imo.

You'd think two in the teens for our future first could be a win win. GWS would be happy to get another high pick and we're happy to plug more holes

My gut feeling and nothing more is Tigs take Lalor no 1 and we take FOS at no 2 unless we trade down with Adelaide for pick 4 + and in that case we take Tauru. Ill be surprised if it goes another way

2. NM - FOS
3. Carl - Jagga

Surely Adelaide don't pass on Draper, but they apparently like Langford. If Melbourne do take Tauru and Adelaide take Langford, Draper gets to Richmond.

It's possible he could get to St Kilda which would be a massive coup, if Richmond still take Smillie.

I reckon if we do trade down to 4, I’d say Draper would be our choice. I honestly think the Tauru stuff is all just media speculation and he is no where near the top of our board.

I don’t think we will. If we don’t improve as expected, you wouldn’t blame players for leaving. If LDU goes to a team that is in the finals window. They would be picks on the teens, and this board would be melted. If Colby leaves, the AFL aren’t giving us a top end compensation pick.

Brisbanes list manager put Jagga Smith in the conversation at pick 2 (after Levi) and included a bunch of other names.

Whoever gets Jagga is going to get a bargain if its pick 4 or 5. Kids real good.

Jagga reminds me of Daicos although probably not quite at the same level. If he slides someone will get a great pick up

Listening to that Thursfield interview, it seems pretty clear we are taking either FOS (if available)or Pernorkel.

My only question regards FOS is he seems very dependant on using his right foot. Not sure how confident he is on his left although that will develop with time you would hope and think.
