The Age article is interesting and probably explains why we are struggling to ship 2 for a reasonable deal but still lock in a top 6 pick.

To trade down we need 2 of either Richmond, Carlton and Adelaide to be desperate for the same player and I’d assumed that player was FoS or Draper.

Without that tension in the market it’s hard to see why a club below us will be desperate to trade up.

I’m also surprised Richmond hasn’t come harder for our Future 1st. Seems like obvious business from them to try and split their strong draft hands over two drafts.

I was trolling the Richmond troll.

More likely is there’s no point trading before the night while we don’t know who Richmond will take.

Clubs, including us, will wait and see who is on the board, how they rate them and how much they’re willing to give up after Richmond pick.

There is no reason to trade now without knowing that.

There will be scenarios. Richmond take player X (not our X!) - then we might keep it if our top is on the board.

But if they take Y who we wanted and others rate what’s left higher and we know we can get our preference by trading back and getting more picks in addition, offers will come and we’ll do it.

We’ll wait and see and there’ll be scenarios unfolding.

The guy has Gerreyn at pick 60. Not even worth posting.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the only place this bloke seems to be rated is on the BF North board.

We can't actually trade before the night. Pick swap period ended on November 8th this year for some reason.

Crows wants Jagga.

'The Kangaroos are believed to be eyeing pick 4 and a future second-round selection to get the deal done.'

It is understood that Adelaide recently offered North Melbourne pick 4 and two future third-round selections in exchange for pick 2, but the offer was knocked back.
