I was trolling the Richmond troll. That’s hard to believe. We aren’t giving up anything else? Our f2 even?

More like you're hoping like hell we take Tauru at 2 because it's the only way you're going to snare a second top tier midfielder.alix tauru is all but locked in at pick 2. This is not a troll either. decent source
Why not bid on Kako then too?The only reason we don't bid on Ashcroft IMO, is if Richmond do it first. Can't think of a single reason not to.
There is no way we blow pick 2 on Tauru.
I hope we do, your highness. Why not bid on Kako then too?
And Marshall and Champion tooI hope we do, your highness.
Lombard too.
Both of these assumptions would be falseMore like you're hoping like hell we take Tauru at 2 because it's the only way you're going to snare a second top tier midfielder.
OhI was trolling the Richmond troll.
I'm a little surprised to hear that Richmond has decided to take Tauru at pick 2.alix tauru is all but locked in at pick 2. This is not a troll either. decent source
lol we're going to psych you out of taking Lalor at 1 ain't we..alix tauru is all but locked in at pick 2. This is not a troll either. decent source

More likely is there’s no point trading before the night while we don’t know who Richmond will take. The Age article is interesting and probably explains why we are struggling to ship 2 for a reasonable deal but still lock in a top 6 pick.
To trade down we need 2 of either Richmond, Carlton and Adelaide to be desperate for the same player and I’d assumed that player was FoS or Draper.
Without that tension in the market it’s hard to see why a club below us will be desperate to trade up.
I’m also surprised Richmond hasn’t come harder for our Future 1st. Seems like obvious business from them to try and split their strong draft hands over two drafts.

The guy has Gerreyn at pick 60. Not even worth posting.
We can't actually trade before the night. Pick swap period ended on November 8th this year for some reason.More likely is there’s no point trading before the night while we don’t know who Richmond will take.
Clubs, including us, will wait and see who is on the board, how they rate them and how much they’re willing to give up after Richmond pick.
There is no reason to trade now without knowing that.
There will be scenarios. Richmond take player X (not our X!) - then we might keep it if our top is on the board.
But if there they take Y who we wanted and others rate what’s left higher and we know we can get our preference by trading back and getting more picks in addition, offers will come and we’ll do it.
We’ll wait and see and there’ll be scenarios unfolding.
If we draft Alix, we're drafting him as a forward not a defender imo, chf.I guess that the planned 2026 backline would be...
B: Tauru - Logue - Archer
HB: Goater - Dawson - Daniel / Hardeman, Fisher
